The new Paradisus Playa del Carmen (La Perla and La Esmeralda)

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies,

This Palapa that is featured in both weddings below is apparently in the La Perla - Pool Area. Does anyone know if you have a reception there, if kids are allowed? Thank you.

Congratulations on confirming your ceremony on the bridge.  I imagine that's going to look absolutely stunning.  We have several pictures in that space and I love them... see one of those pictures below! :)

I'm so excited that you've booked the Gazebo for our reception - I was hesitant about that space when I first saw it in pictures, but its SO deceiving.  Its absolutely beautiful - and what I love most is that its a clean canvas and you can really do with it whatever you'd like.  I shared some of those pictures with you too -- see below!

Re: our rose petal curtain behind our sweetheart table, I don't remember the exact cost because I can't locate my itemized bill, but I think it was several hundred dollars (they give you several options, depending on how dense you want the curtain).

P.S. Please tell Veronica I said hello!!!  :)

I like that the reception setup for Monica and David's wedding reception was actually in the same Palapa where Inna's wedding was... so its a nice contrast to see this venue setup ready for a reception...

How long from the airport did it take to get to Paradisus Playa Del Carmen La Esmeralda?  I'm also gonna be booking at this hotel for my wedding.  Did you guys get a form to fill out to hold the date of your wedding?  I just haven't gotten a response back yet & needed to know what info they need from us to be able to secure our date.  If you have that form, would you be able to attach it to here, just so I can check out the details?

Ok thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
