Canadian Brides!!!!!!!!!

I used fabric not ribbon, though I have heard of them being done that way as well.  I used satin for my hair flowers but this is a flatter look, not such a sheen!  I picked it up on clearance just to play around with and it just happened to match the flip flops perfectly!

How did you make those flower clips? They are GORGEOUS!!!

Is it burned ribbon? I did those using organza for my invitations but these look more like satin or something. Please share....I LOVE them! :)

I used afloral to get my flowers and although the shipping is pretty high, the flowers really are great! I posted my pics in the Iberostar Rose Hall Thread. I priced out all the main places in Canada and it still worked out to be the cheapest!

I have been looking into Afloral for the purchase of supplies to make my real touch bouquets.  they have a great overstock sale right now, but I am getting an enormous shipping charge when I go to ring it up, almost $50 just for shipping.

Have any of you used any canadian or other providers for realtouch flowers?  Any tips are appreciated before I pull the trigger on this order!

It might be worth waiting to do a trip to the US to go to hobby lobby or something.....

So cute Tori! Ihave started making barefoot jewelry for my BMs but I bought some white flip flops that I might try making flowers for. May I ask how you secured them to the flops?

Thanks Kat

I am taking the evening today and tomorrow to re-group. I will make my lists and try to get some stuff done :) I have already delegated speach writing to my FI LOL so i will see if there is anything else on the list i can get him to help with.

its mostly difficult right now because we just moved and have a lot of painting and reno's to do. Some will wait until after the wedding but some had to get done right away. AND i am planning my sisters baby shower all at the same time....i think i am crazy LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
