HI Ladies,

I have had both single lash eyelash extensions and semi or cluster lash extensions. I get them everytime I go on vacation and I love them! In fact I just got some on today as I am off to Playa Del Carmen on Sunday!  They can get itchy after a while, but the benefits out weigh the negitives for me! No mascara needed! My eyes always look great even with no make up. The strips never seem to stay for me and you def cannot wear them in the water!

I suggest trying them a few months before you leave and you can decide for yourself! But i will defintely be getting extenstions for my wedding!

I actually wore my fake lashes in the water for a TTD the day after they were glued on (the wedding day), I never re-glued them or anything and they lasted!!

I dont think I'm going to do a planning thread lol I will post a big review on the resort I'm going to, but I think I've given all my advice and plans on these threads already.

My fiance and I will both have our own luggage, and then him, I, and 3 other guests will each bring a second suitcase. This is b/c Jamaica has a maximum of 2 suitcase allowance per person (and second case costs $20).

I am bringing down favours for everyone:

-guest room list

-OOT bags [rubber duck coasters, mini flashlight, room key/ tip holders, tylenol, Emergen-C, heart shaped note pad, band-aids, wet naps, mini water gun]

-sun glasses for everyone

-cookie cutter favours

-Beer Koozies

I also have Factory 21 mugs for everyone. We handed about half of those out at xmas, but didn't end up seeing a lot of the people we had intended to so still have about 45 to bring down to Jamaica.

Other things:

-raffia fans

-chair sashes; table runners; fabric for arch

-shells, starfish, and diamonds for table decor

-tissue paper flowers for table decor

-t-shirt prizes for games throughout the week

Personal things beyond the usual:

-dress, veil, jewelry, shoes for me on the wedding day

-shirt, pants, belt, shoes, hat for him on the wedding day

-walkie-talkies to find eachother on the resort

-water shoes for climbing the falls (on sale for $5 at Walmart right now, in the shoes area)

-snorkling stuff

-bouquet and boutoneires

-floaty mattresses

-waterproof camera

Im sure I've forgotten some things, but I'll repost my packing list when I'm done

Dazeydawl, I don't know if you are flying with Sunwing (I am).  I have heard they have overhead bins reserved for wedding dresses!  That is what I am doing!
Unfortunately sun wing doesn't fly out from Winnipeg in may, maybe then I could get decent prices on flights! We are flying air Canada:(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
