Canadian Brides!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine had thank you post cards made by vista print for free, and they were beautiful.

Canadian brides, if you are anything like me and have left items to be printed until virtually the last minute, give Vistaprint a call.  I have been waiting for the free 7 day shipping offer and haven't had one in a while (plus we still had a couple of projects to create).  So, after finishing the last projects, I called and asked their customer service agent if she might be able to locate a valid code for me...she came back a couple of minutes later having located one, but it was a US offer.  A couple of minutes later, she came back with the same offer but valid in Canada.  SOOOOOO, I placed the order yesterday (Friday)...it should get here by next Friday...if anything goes wrong that gives us 7 more days to get replacements done and to us before we leave.  Phew!!!

Hey everyone!!!

I got my marriage certificate from Dominican a few weeks ago.  I live in Ontario.

Do I have to do anything now to have it recognized here?  I feel like some of the stuff I have been reading says you don't need to and that you just use the Dominican certificate for any legal name changes and what not.

Any info on this would be GREAT!!!

From what I've read you dont need to do anything with it and just use it to change your name and all other related stuff

Hi there,

Just got back from our wedding in Mexico and it was awesome!  I have some items in excellent condition for sale and thought I would offer them to upcoming Canadian brides before I post in the buy and sell.  You will end up saving a bit of money because you won't have pay the duty like I did.

I have:

Two white parasols - Thank you and Just Married written on them ($40)

18 Paper lanterns in various sizes - turquoise, aqua and white with 34 led lights ($40)

24 turquoise chair sashes ($5)

You will have to cover the cost of shipping.

Let me know if you are interested.

Heather

Completely random question popped up in my mind at work today... Does anyone know if they ever weigh the dress to ensure its in the weight for carry on because if they do mind would for sure be to heavy lol.

i think it might depend on the airline? my experience so far when i attended destination weddings is Westjet and Sunwing weren't fussy with the bride's gowns.

Hey! I was looking into this last week. There's nothing you need to do in Ontario. So much easier than I thought it was going to be!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
