Glad you ladies found the site helpful!!!! Unfortunately my girls didn't go for any of the shoes I liked.... I think I am giving up on them.  A little bit of a vent but I am getting seriously frustrated! I asked them to find shoes they like and no one has done anything so I spent the better part of a day sending them different options and they don't really have an opinion except ones they DONT like.... I really dont care, I just want you to have shoes!!!!

UGH!!!! Frustrating!

You are more then welcome ladies. If i update it at all i will share :)

Tori, I know your pain. My wedding is in about 6 weeks and one of my girls still doesnt have shoes!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH after the dress fittings on the 24th we are going to go shopping so i really hope we find something. I am also planning on making a trip across the border for a day to do some shopping so if we have no luck on the 24th then i will have to bring her with me for my day shopping trip and we will have to crack down to find something!!! I have amazing barefoot jewels for the ceremony for everyone but she doesnt have shoes for the reception. Hot pink shoes arent that easy to find but i have found sooo many amazing options but none of them worked out. I even bought a pair at one point andt hey werent comfortable so i had to return them! Also the "best man" is Fi's sister and we dont have shoes for her yet either!!! Hopefully by the end of this month all of those things will be done so i dont have to have a panic attack. When i see October on the calendar i am going to start stressing out LOL blush2.gif

I feel your pain too Tori!!

We decided we are not covering our BM's shoes or dresses as i bought each of them a coach bag, barefoot jewelery and Hair flowers.. so we decided that they can get thier own shoes and dresses. I found a nice inexpensive (89.00) dress online and told them how to get it, that way they can get it on thier leisure and get the size they want etc.. as i have 3 BM's all different cities in which they live and all different shapes and sixzes, from petite to plus size. This was the best way to accomodate that was by doing it online. Well two of them got thier dresses and the third one just complains all of the time about the sizing of it and what not..

Same with the shoes... I was thinking that they could all get the matching shoes as they have matching dresses, however none of them could agree on ones they liked... i have one BM who is quite picky and a bit of a princess so to speak..( same one who is complaining about everything she can with the dresses.. and has yet to order hers..) so she couldnt agree on shoes..

To make a long story short, in the end i just gave up,, told them That i no longer care what shoes they wear.. and they can pick out thier own shoes. That way they will each get what they want and i don't have to be stressed about it.

I know it is frustrating Tori... and sometimes i wonder too why i chose to have 3 ladies in my wedding party haha... but at the same time i love them all and would not have it any other way.. i dont think... lol

Try not to sweat the small stuff.. and if it gets to the point of you wanting to snap, if it is not too important to you for them to be matching, maybe tell them they are on thier own and they can pick out there own shoes like i did.. I just decided to pick my battles.. and the shoes for me were not worth stressing over... ( this is just to me..)  But if they are on thier own.. then they each get what they like...

I just went to Michael's today (Whitby, Ontario) and there is a sale on most of there wedding merchandise.  I think their invitation sets were 40% off, wedding favors were 30% and ring bearer pillows and flower girl baskets 30% off.  The had many things on sale but I am not sure how long the sale is on for.

Just have to vent!!!! I was so excited a few days ago that the one of out of the four bridesmaid dresses had arrived from BEYOND THE RACK (Don't buy from this site!) and it had fit three of the girls perfectly and only had one more to try it on.  Well I received the other three dresses today and thought hey I will try one on and take a couple pics for this site since some of the girls wanted to see.  Well to my dismay the dress I put on was huge on me and I thought oh wow I'm so much smaller then my bm and then thought maybe I will try on the original dress that came first and well that one fit so much better.   The JERKS covered up the Large size with medium stickers and cut the tag out of the dress on two of them!!!!!!  Why would they think they could fool me when they are all coming to me!!!! Grrrrr so mad right now!!!!

Look at the difference in the length way to obvious to me!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
