I'm getting married on August 22, 2014 at Dreams Los Cabos. I'm getting lots of planning done but there's still a lot to go.

I'm also a bridesmaid for all three of MY bridesmaids in the coming year. Very exciting!

Hi Misscuppycake, congrats!!!  It sounds like you have quite the year coming up!  How much is still left on your list?

The main things left are:

-Bridesmaids Gifts

-Groomsmen Attire

-Groom's Attire

-OOT bags

Pretty much everything else is done. I've booked photography, makeup, hair, and put the deposit down for the resort so I'm truly grateful that the big stuff is out of the way. My best friend's bachelorette and bridal party is up next, and then comes all the crazy stuff once my sister's (maid of honour) July wedding draws a little closer.

Any ideas on what you want to give your bridesmaids?  I'm leaning towards a really nice bracelet so that it can be worn for years to come but it'll break the bank a little.

I think we're down to decor for our wedding and printing things like programs and deciding on events for everyone to attend.  It's coming down to the line..... I'm getting more and more nervous LOL

I got all 3 of my sisters (my BM's) something different.  One a necklace, one rings, and one a bracelet.  It all depended on what I thought they would like the best.  I really like the jewelry that they have at the Magnolia kiosks in the malls.  I see you live in Toronto so I know they have a store close to you somewhere.  A lot of the jewelry is sterling silver and all very pretty.  I also saw a lot of nice swarovski jewelry at Costco for a LOT cheaper than the store.  I guess it depends on what you want to get and how much you want to spend.  You will find something :)

At about 2 months out I started getting nervous too (that I wasn't going to get everything accomplished!).  I made a list of everything that I still needed to do.  It helped me feel more calm.  Every time I tick something off of the list I feel so awesome.  Not much left on my list now, and 30 days until we leave :D.

Exciting!  Let me know what you find!

I think I've finally decided what I want to get for my bridesmaids. It's not confirmed yet but I'm thinking they will each get: 1 personalized hanger for their dress 1 clutch 1 makeup eyeshadow palette 1 personalized waffle makeup bag
Sounds wonderful! They'll love it!

I do have a friend who made her own sashes for her wedding which are navy, I might ask to buy/borrow from her. I think white does look elegant and classy, but the navy might also give it a pop. Decisions decisons!

Hello misscuppycake, congrats on your wedding! These gifts sound amazing, I was thinking of a clutch and earrings for my girls. Planning all of this has been so much fun! Are you enjoying it or finding it stressful?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
