My husband (so funny saying that after being engaged for so long!) got his outfit from Zara. He only wore the blazer for the ceremony and wore just the vest and the shirt for the dinner and dancing. Zara had great prices and it was awesome to be able to make a unique outfit by mixing and matching things they had. His hat is Brixton and his shoes are Sperry's.

Hi Ladies,

I am wondering if anyone has used or heard of good reviews about artisan state for custom photo albums. I wanted something with thick pages that Groupon deals and such didn't have and came across these guys http://www.artisanstate.com/

Just wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on them. They seem fairly inexpensive and from what I've seen, good quality stuff as well. Let me know. Thanks.

So onto my next idea, I thought I would try this amazing mascara people raved about, its called Blinc and they sell it at sephora for a whopping $30 per tube....save yourself that trial and don't buy it! LOL! I bought it and only took it to Mexico and not my regular stuff and when I wore it on the first day there I hated it, it made me have 4 chunked together eyelashes on each eye after I was in the water with it. So awful! It is this tube technology that creates tubes on your eyelashes, any which way, I am not a fan of it at all so I returned it to sephora and got my $ back.

I ended up wearing fake lashes for the first time ever in my life and they were perfect, I put waterproof mascara over them (one I borrowed from a friend called Lash Stiletto or something, it was great) and my eyelashes were perfect! I even woke up the day after the wedding and my eyelashes were still on, I re-did my mascara and fixed my foundation and went off to do a underwater TTD in a cenote and my lashes still pulled through!

Here is a pic from the spa on the wedding day - the girl doing my makeup put my eyelashes I brought it on for me :o

The white thing is the tag. I seriously just wrapped it around my waist to try it, I can only imagine actually trying to tie it nicely!

They come in a plastic bag.. not the best but they were fine!

it looks really nice! love the colour!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
