The cost is $1598 + $350 tax for double occupancy (Snagged a no fuel surcharge deal though, so taxes only ended up being $190).  We booked with Sunwing for a group of 30+ all departing from Calgary.

Beach Palace does seem to be a bit pricey compaired to some but I think it will be worth it in the end.  Reviews of the weddings there have been fantastic.  I cant wait!!

thanks! Yeah, I think it's such a nice hotel that it's worth the extra money. We're going to do a site visit anyways, I still have lots of time to make my final decision

I got mine from Justartifacts.com. It was $5 for 1800 petals and I bought pks because I wasn't sure how many I'd want. Figured I'd give away or sell after if I don't use em all. They come stuck together and you pick apart. Michaels was selling 200 petals for $10 so it's a great deal.

Be sure to Check with your resort as to what they allow because I know many have restrictions on fake petals because they are garbage/pollution for the environment.

Thats good to know. I'd never have thought of that cuz you're right, it is just a pile of garbage on the grass afterwards. But I showed the actual bag of petals to them when I was there and she said "great deal! These are perfect!" Thankfully I saved myself $150 which is what the florist was charging. I've seen some ppl actually glue the petals to the aisle runner which would help avoid those pollution situations.

Has anyone ordered one of those embroidered handkerchiefs online? Just wondering if they turned out great and who you ordered from? I've seen them on etsy but all in the states. I'd prefer a canadian but will take what I can get at this point. TIme is ticking and I need to hurry it up.
