I can't wait to hear all about it!!

We had a sunset dinner cruise for everyone. PM your price, I'll let you know what I paid.

Wow...that was a quick response to my request! ; )

YESSSS, this particular deal is a great one...the Barrie Groupon was $39 for $115 worth of product and expires Nov/12...so this one is an even better deal AND you have a good chunk of time to work on your books before the groupon would expire.

Thanks for everyones advice/tips and sorry it took so long to respond I was/still am recovering from surgery.  We really want to go to Jamaica, we feel its calling out to us the more we talk about it. But we are also considering Mexico. It is cheaper but from the reading I have been doing it seems like it can be a huge headache to actually get married there. Does anyone have any experience with Mexico and weddings, as far as all the legal requirements? We are also considering the option of providing guests with the option of staying at a more affordable resort if the one we choose is out of their budget. On the other hand the people that we are worried about not coming because of cost are my FIL and due to some recent issues we are having with them we would be very surprised if they were to even attend regardless of where it was. With that being said we will continue with our resort search

I would go to Dominican over Mexico any day ... for a number of reasons.  I've been to both as well as Jamaica, which is my favourite, but it's too expensive for me to expect my guests to attend.  So we are going to Punta Cana (my second choice :o) )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
