Choosing photos and getting a book produced is my kind of scrapbooking too. ;)

I see group deals for photo books all the time, so your experience with Photobook Canada is really appreciated as I had no idea which one to go with. Most deals are good for a year, hence my looking now. I figure if I'm getting married in December, I should have my photos within a couple of months, and then should be able to get my book(s) ordered a couple of months after that. I hope. :)

We were under a time crunch with our last book (the professional wedding pics...I had four hours to do it as the groupon expired the end of that night) but we love the outcome and want to do another book with our own/our guests' photos from the wedding week. If anything pops up on the e-mails I get, I'll post here too.  Because all of the ordering is done online, it doesn't matter which city they post the groupon for, as long as it's for Canada.

The very first book they did for us had some issues, nothing major, but the white pages at the front and back of the book were wavy.  They asked us to send a pic in and when they saw what was wrong, they offered to reprint it for us right away and we were able to keep the original book as well.

Anyone tried lots of photo book printing companies and have a favourite (for whatever reason)?

I am working on a Mixbook right now. So far I like putting it together. Seems good so far. Making one for engagement pics for a guestbook, and another bd for FI. When I finish it and order it, I will let you know about quality.

Hi ladies! I love photo books! I'm not into scrapbooking, purely because I have no patience for cutting, pasting, sticking etc...I'm more of a tech geek so that why creating a photo book and having it printed works for me! We like http://www.picaboo.com/ you can usually find groupons for them or google picaboo coupons and you should find a link with offer codes for 50% off or buy 1 get 2nd (smaller) free. http://www.dealigg.com/story-Picaboo-Coupons-Picaboo-Coupon-Code-2

If the book you get has any smudges or other marks, simply take a picture as proof and they send you a new one and the original with defect you can keep or toss.

Happy photo booking!!!

Hey Ladies!

I have also bought photobooks online through those deal websites. The site I used was Photobin and my undsertanding is that they have TONS of deal site coupons all the time. It will probably only take a google search for you to find one now ( I just did one, doesn't look like there is anything right now). I have ordered two "photo wrapped" books and absolutely LOVE them. The first one was not as great, because I did not know the software as well, but once you get the hang of it, it goes a lot smoother and you can customize what you want. I know other websites offer clip art that you can put into the photobooks; however, I did not see this on photobin. Photobin also has a photo sharing tool so that you can share with friends and family; however, I don't know how to do that. The shipping, price and quality of product was great from Photobin. I think they are a bigger company, so I am sure you would be able to contact them with any issues. We did not have any issues with the books we ordered.

I will keep an eye out. I also subscribe to livingdeal and dealfind.

I used shutterfly for my photo albums and was very happy with how they turned out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
