Ya I thought of that. Might get a friend to try it on this weekend. Also, there are these sort of bra insert thingies in it (like a bathing suit has) and they are freakishly close together. I am hoping that a seamstress and take them out or put them further apart because I am not sure what person's ladies can be pushed that close together...hahaha.

The wonderful woman who owned the Briadal Boutique said you have over 4 months, don't stress...wink.gif and if worse comes to worse...it can be taken out.

Taken out?!?! Hell no!!  There was no way I was having my gown taken out!!!

So as the new year arrived, I swung into action.  Started a cleanse program that my hair stylist had amazing results with and exercised like a mad woman!!!

It paid off ladies.  This week I went for my very first fitting, 18lbs lighter and 23.5 inches smaller.  I was pretty confident the lining in my gown would no longer hug

my hips.  I slipped into the gown, looked into the mirror and almost teared up....I did it!!!

I shared photos with you all back in Dec, and if you don't mind...would like to share with you all once again.

The first two are my Before: Dec photos and third is my After: March photo.

Forgot to snap a photo of the back of my dress this week, but the corset is now to the end and will be taken in so the ribbon can be shown.

Norma...you look amazing and very happy!!!

So in the middle of wedding planning, my FI and I decide to buy a house.  I'm thinking we are a little crazy but what can you do?  Going to a couple open houses today with my parents so they can help us decide.  I never realized making this decision would be that difficult.  Almost worse than deciding on a resort! Lol!!

Congrats on your decision to buy house! It is very exciting news.

I found for me buying the house was just like buying my wedding dress. Once I was in our house, I knew it was the one. I did not even want to look at any other houses :D.

I hope it will help you.

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that I am posting some post wedding items for sale on the Buy/sell/freebies thread.  Many items I bought I actually forgot in a suitcase at home and some are leftovers from the wedding.

Good luck to everyone with their upcoming weddings!!

Hi Norma,

I remember seeing your original dress post and you looked beautiful then, but wow, good for you for you! I admire your hard work and dedication, I know weight loss isn't easy.

Recently I purchased my wedding gown from a sample sale, and it's a couple of sizes too small and I too am bound and determined to lose the weight vs. having to let it out. I've got the working out part down pat and have been researching cleanses and I would love to know about the program you followed. Would you PM me the details pls? Thanks, and congrats again!

Wow it took them quite a while. I received mine back in January. I used mine to change mine and that was it.

You dont need to have it recognized anywhere. I called service Ontario and they told me that I did not have to do a thing with it, except to use it for a name change. I would guess Qc should have same rules.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
