Congrats Kat! You looked beautifuL!

 

My FI are just finalizing the music tonight. We want a guitar theme running throughout the music so here's what we are going with:

 

Bridesmaids processional- Somewhere over the rainbow - IZ kamakawiwo'ole (Hawaiian version)

Me processional - Canon in D acoustic guitar version

Paper signing - Going to California - Led Zeppelin (FI's choice! LOL but it is pretty)

Recessional - looking for acoustic version of U2 beautiful day, if we can't find one we are going with an acoustic version Friday I'm In Love by The Cure

I found some on ebay.  Everytime I went to Michael's, they never had any either.  I'm still waiting for them to be delivered, so I'll let you know once we get them.

Thanks for sharing your songs Manda!  Still deciding and FI keeps saying, I have everything all picked for that but won't tell me!! He's trying to be funny but I'm not enjoying it all!  Lol!!

At our wedding I barely even noticed all the songs LOL I was on cloud 9 and did not notice too many things :D I would catch the song when it was about in the middle of it. And I spend so much time choosing them.

we had Bridal processional -Canon in D (Piano version)

signing registrar - Is this Love by Bob Marley ( had to have Bob since we were in Jamaica) :D

recessional was Lucky by Jason Mraz

and first dance was Can you feel the love tonight by Elton John from Lion King (it is my favourite cartoon ever)

I'm pretty excited about my latest find from Costco - a set of 24 LED candles (12 votives and 12 tea lights) for about $24 (I can't remember the exact price) and they include batteries!!!!  I was having the hardest time finding cheap LED candles that included batteries, so I was thrilled to find this nice set from Costco.

Our wedding was everything I dreamed of and there was nothing (surprisingly) that went wrong. Or maybe I was too happy to notice!

I will post my pics in a few days, as soon as I get a chance to sort through them. I have over 1000 pictures to go through. My photographer was amazing she did all my pics in under a week. I dont think she slept or ate regularly too

Hey Manda123, we are also having all acoustic guitar covers for our ceremony. Check out Jason Mraz's I'm Yours by the Guitar Tribute Players, I love it and it will be my processional song :)

We are also using Somewhere over the rainbow by IZ for the bridesmaids, great choices!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
