Merry Christmas girls!

Our families are all "skipping Christmas", so to speak, and we are mock packing all of our stuff today. We leave on Saturday at 6 am. EEK!

I was just reading some of the fine print on the transat website. It says...

Fragile or perishable articles, including medication or medical devices, money, jewellery, silverware, electronics, laptop computers, personal audio/video devices, negotiable documents, securities, samples of business documents or other valuables (other than articles of clothing) shall not be accepted as checked baggage. Any such items declared or found in checked baggage shall be subject to removal prior to the baggage in question being accepted for carriage by the Carrier.

I was planning on checking all of the OOT stuff, including pepto and advil. Do you think it will be okay?

What they are trying to say is: "if you have any medication that you could possibly need medically (ie. prescription drugs) don't pack them." This is just in case your suitcase goes missing. Packing you OOT stuff will not be an issue at all! We packed all our OOT stuff in suitcases. The only important thing to take on your carry on- rings, dress, suit; so worst case you are dressed for your special day!

Have an amazing trip and enjoy every moment!plane.gif

Welcome back Michcraw!!  Looks like you had an amazing day!  Hope you feel better soon.

I'm using Marry Me by Train to walk down the aisle.  Still can't decide on what song to play as walk back down once we are married.  I'm thinking Somewhere over the Rainbow by the Hawiian singer.  Any other suggestions??

Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas!

all this talk about wedding songs made me buckle down with my fiance and make some decisions. Of course Adam didn't like most of my choices :-)

We decided on Make You Feel my Love by Adele for when I walk down the aisle. For the signing, Mine is yours by cold war kids. And for when we walk back down the aisle, You've got the love by Florence and The Machine.  we still need to figure out what the bm's will walk into as well as our first dance. we were going to use you've got the love but its not an easy song to dance to.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
