Wowsers!!! Last minute chaos!! My worst worst nightmare!!! Hopefully everything falls into place before you have to head out ! As for the pants... shorts wouldn't be that bad would they? Thank goodness my boyfriend doesn't read this thread .. he'd have them hemmed a little short just so he could go the shorts route!

Good luck with everything, I feel your stress ... and try asking for help from the people around you .. you don't need to go through this all alone!

1. The design I had for my program was not working out so I headed to Michael's tonight for plan B. Unfortunately when I got home and opened the new punch I need to use, it punches backwards from the picture! Now I have to come up with plan C....

2. My fiance tried on his suit and the tailor hemmed the pants like an inch too short!!!!

3. My Mother just called and said that my Aunt had left a message for her saying she had been called to jury duty. We THINK this means that she will not be able to look after our dogs while we are away as planned!!!!

4. My car which broke down last weekend and had to be towed into the mechanics STILL isn't ready to be picked up in the morning

5. My disc drive with my engagement photo DVD in it doesn't want to play and/or eject the disc!

Oh...did I mention that we leave in a week!!!! I'm not really sure whether to laugh or cry right now! I'm going to go with laugh because I'm finding it quite comical all this happened in such a short period of time. :)

Sry...just needed to vent. Deep breathes....deep breathes....

Love love love these... so colorful and that ribbon is really beautiful!

For anyone who is looking for flameless candles Costco has a great deal on right now.  I got 12 flameless votives & 12 flameless tea lights with 24 extra batteries for $14.99.  They're not the best quality but at least the flame flickers and they're nicer than the ones they sell at the dollar store.

I also got mine on ebay. They have the zipper closure. I bought 150 plus 100 lanyards from a seller in Hong Kong. We will use half of them for luggage tags and the other half for our keycard/tip holders. I tihnk it ended up costing around 40 bucks Canadian. They haven;t arrived yet and I ordered them 3 weeks ago... Starting to wonder where they are. Camy, how long did yours take to arrive?

I think I may have figured out the program fiasco so that's one down....and hopefully the tailor will fix the pants tonight. Fingers crossed.

Capecodder....did you try ebay? I bought the clear zipper kind from a seller in Hong Kong. He had them in quantities of 25 and 50 and shipping to Canada was free. In fact, that order arrived quicker than any of the stuff I got from the US! :)

Love the idea of flood pants though!!  Hope get most of everything solved on your vacation day.

Does anyone know where I can get clear luggage tag holders?  All the websites I found so far have a minimum order of 100 and shipping to Canada is super expensive.

If I recall it was only around 2 weeks. Stuff I ordered from the US took over 3. I'm not sure what's going on with Canada Post lately....but they seem to be as slow as molasses! I have things that were sent from another Canadian city and it took a week to arrive...and my invitations and things were 4-5 days just to go a few blocks!!! I'm sure there will get there soon though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
