Wagjag is such an amazing site!  It made me thing that there are so many discount sites, but I think that there are probably a lot more.  So far I know about:

  • Wagjag.com
  • Groupon.com
  • Teambuy.ca
  • Dealticker.ca
  • Jaunt.ca
  • Livingsocial.com
  • and the Kijiji Daily Deals

Am I missing any?  Please let me know!

So far, I have purchased my MOH and Bridesmaid presents (Fresh Water Pearls) and our engagement photos, and I also considered buying a shoe deal, but decided that I would rather try them on first.

onespout.com is amazing its basically all of these sites combined into one.

Yes I am, I would need about 30 so it works out perfect unless you have some more late Booker's! I would like purple if they have them if not I could do aqua. That's great that your FIs family is in Ottawa it would be great if we could meet up!

Yay! Thanks for the photo book link! Just bought the groupon. I bought another one a few months ago for picaboo and used it to make a photo guestbook for my brother and his fiancé She loved it and even shed a few tears. This is a great gift idea! The $100 credit is enough to make 2 large photo books at picaboo so I am going to do another one after their wedding for a coffee table book :) I think I will use ours for photo books for the moms and maybe even one for pics from our AHR.

@Camy 47..I've been wondering what to do about the father/daughter dance too or a way to remember my dad.  He passed away 2 years ago.  I think I may do the photo idea too but not sure yet.  FI's mom also passed away many years ago so not sure what to do about that yet either.

Just got back from the States and finally got FI's wedding outfit.  JC Penney for his wedding shirt, it is ivory with tropical imprints (palm trees) and linen pants at Old Navy.  His whole outfit cost less than $50. Yay for deals!!

I'm also working a photobook.  Still trying to decide what pictures to put in!

Hello fellow Canadian brides :)

I need help finding a good travel agent. I do have one that we have used for other vacations. She says that she specializes in honeymoons and destination weddings. However, I don't seem to be getting anywhere and would like to know who other people are using or if they are even using a travel agent? My group in from the Toronto area.

Happy planning!

It may be nice for you to do a joint father daughter dance but have you dance with your FIs dad and he dance with your mom.  A nice way to represent the joining of two families and remembering those loved ones you've lost!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
