Aw that is so nice!!! I love helping the brides I feel like I actually KNOW on the forums!!! I am glad to hear you like so much of my stuff!!! I can't really share it with anyone else so I get nervous sometimes that it wont go over so well come february!

I can't wait to see what else you do so I can get more ideas.  Oh and another thought since you are so creative you could totally sell a whole little template package on esty or something.... I'm sure there are lots of other brides that lack in the creativity side such as myself.

Hey Tam, are you on the Canadian OOT thread?  We've talked about this before on there but I couldn't remember if you made it over there too!!!!  I will be doing 1 bag for every couple and 1 bag for every single this way we cut some costs doing the couple bags but those singles don't feel left out.  I think it would be strange to have 2 people sharing a room share a bag, how do they divide it? Who takes the bag home etc.  This way it is easy for everyone.

I posted a list of what I am including and what is doubled up etc for the couple bags

For example the couple bags have double of the following items compared to the single bags:

- chapstick

- shout wipes

- face cloths

- mugs

- gatorade

- pepto

But all bags have

- 1 sanitizer

- 1 sewing kit

- 1 nail file (except the single guy bags)

- 1 advil 10 ct

- 1 tin of altoids

- 1 shell soap

- 1 roll of tums

You get the idea!  Hope this helps :)

To cut cost I am giving one bag per couple but not to sure what to do? I am leaning towards individual bags for them but would like to know what everyone else is doing/thoughts?

I am giving one bag per couple, and then one bag for each single... even if they are sharing room, if they came without a partner, I didnt want to make them share...  but that was just my way of thinking =) go with your budget! i have 65 people, and 37 bags!!

Thanks for your input! I am going to do the same, like I said to Tori the more I think about it I don't want to have to make them share with someone who isn't their partner!

No problem!!!! That is what we are hear for.  I find myself wanting to come ask you guys questions daily even on un-wedding related topics!!!!

FIs new line is "why don't you ask your forum friends" or "what do your cyber friends say" LOL  I think he likes that he doesn't have to answer EVERY question!!!!

I will be working on some DIYs today as it is yucky and rainy here!!! Will keep all my fellow canucks posted :)

I'm doing the same thing, Tam! It's a good decision I think.

Speaking of friends sharing rooms, are you guys finding that you have to do a lot of matching up? We have some friends that are single going and trying to hook them up with people to stay with. Some of them don;'t know each other, so we are trying to base it on similar personalities/interests. I hope this works out!~

So far we haven;t needed to.  On FIs family side there are a few singles but they paired themselves up so we didn't have to get involved which was GREAT!!! The only single on my side right now is my sister who is still waiting to see if her boyfriend will be coming.  I don't know what to do if he doesn't as I don't know who we would pair her with AND I don't think she wants to spend the $400 extra dollars for a single room.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
