your guests won't need a day pass as long as they are staying at any palace resort.

Hi Giselle,

We had our wedding at the Cancun Palace back in May and had our reception on the infinity Terrace. We couldn't have asked for more!! Beautiful place, incredibly friendly people and the best wedding we could've hoped for!!!! You will love it!!!! Feel free to ask me any questions about the resort, I would love to help you out!!!

All my best,

Jen

Hi Jen, we are getting married July 6, 2012 at cancun palace.

I have so many questions and don't know where to start.

We picked the amesthyst package, i love the pinks and purples.

The wedding consultant i've been speaking with, yesenia diaz, has told me a WC will get in touch with me 3 months before the wedding, but i am anxious to know how to book a photographer, dj, the decorations and what not??? Please give me any advice you can!

Hello ladies, I just found this site and I can't seem to stay away from it! It's great hearing about everyone opinions and different ideas.

I booked our date at the Cancun Palace for July 6, 2012. I have been in contact with a woman from Miami, the original lady who I spoke with and she sent me the contract. We picked the amethyst package because I love the pinks and purples.

When I email her, Yesenia, she does email me back very promptly, but isn't always thorough with her responses. She has told me many times that a WC will contact me 3 months prior to the event.  That does make me a little nervous, but we are also having 2 receptions when we return home (one in ohio, where I am from and one in CT where we currently live) so that is keeping me somewhat occupied. Anyhow, I have so many questions regarding private function areas, cost, food, decorations, unity candle ceremony, DJ, photographer, having my dress pressed, the whole bit.  I have had a photographer contact me, Adrianna Solman, from Smile market photography (????) Their packages are really not too bad. We want photos while we are getting ready, before the ceremony, during the ceremony, after the ceremony (reception and with our family, bridal party) and possible the next day for a trash the dress shoot. The photographer has been very prompt with their email responses which makes me feel good.

As for the DJ service, Yesenia sent me an email with an address for a "DJ". I know nothing about this person, no website I can find, and I emailed them and it's been almost 4 days with no response.  I am a little concerned. Because in our contract it does say no outside vendors.

Also, at the private function/reception.....where do the decorations come from? table lines, centerpieces, etc????? Are those extra too?

Our package includes the bride and groom flowers, but we have made the others, to save on cost. And we have people coming all different days throughout the week, how do I get their OOT bags in their rooms????

Am i just a little over anxious...does it really come together one the WC contacts me???

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
