Hey everyone! This is so exciting, it's nice to see everyone's plans come into action! I just booked my week this morning! We're going to the Majestic Colonial Punta Cana from march 09-16! Will anyone else be there at that time? We just got back from a beautiful wedding there last month, and that solidified it for us! Busy year ahead for all!

Talked to my TA this morning and got a great rate for the Hard Rock in April 2013 for 40 guests, Yeah so excited! I have spent hours finding, researching, debating and I'm happy we (I) have made a decision :) we are also in the middle of booking with pastor Rick York and our wedding decorator, have alreaddy put the deposit on "the" wedding dress, and I'm looking into a welcome dinner or day after wedding brunch on that yaght bacaraz (don't think I spelt that correctly). Yeah its all coming together :)

Hi Ladies!  

 

Congratulations to you all!  I am also a 2013 BRIDE!  I live in Upstate NY.  Our wedding date is April 2, 2013 and we are booked/confirmed at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen.   336 days to go!  LOL!  3 couples booked so far!!!  We are traveling 3/27/12 - 04/06/12 during the Easter 2013 School Break (My FI's son will be a sophomore in HS next year).  We chose this resort because we had vacationed there 2 years ago with some friends and absolutely fell in love with it.

 

Such an exciting time in our lives, huh???  All this excitement & planning!!  cheers.gif

 

Looking forward to making some new friends here & getting some wonderful ideas!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
