I knew from the moment I got engaged I wanted these, researchng all the different sites lited on here for biogradable ones. Our WC at Iberostar said they are allowed and they help light them. Yay!

When you post, there is a small icon in the upper left corner underneath where it says "Source." If you click on it it, it will allow you to insert an image. Hope that helps, would love to see your photos!

          Hi Brides,

I am looking forward to having the lanterns at my Mexican wedding also.  More importantly, I'm wondering if anyone has had trouble getting them through airport security.

I'm also interested in sparklers.  Same question about security.

          Thank you for the advice!

I just ordered 21 of the eco-friendly ones from justartifacts.com and it was $50 including shipping. They were $1.68 each. They had the best prices I could find. They shipped pretty quickly too. We go 20 cylinder shape ones and 1 heart shape one for us. I am so looking forward to setting them off : )

I'm just waiting to hear back from my resort as to whether or not we are allowed to light these but I already have them in my cart from just artifacts

OOH WOW!! That's not bad at all!!! Once I make my mind up about a resort I will ask if they are allowed. Definitely more cost effective than fireworks and are as beautiful!!

I am getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace in Mexico and I heard that Mexico has banned the sky lanterns.  Does anyone know if that is true?

                Thanks,
