Looks great, thanks for sharing the PDF, I know what it was like looking for feedback.  It was weird the first PPT didn't work for me but as a 2+ year Mac user I am realizing now there are still some things that wont translate perfectly... oh well!!!!

Sooooo as for my feedback

-LOVE the graphics and things you incorporated for images, the patterns for the "tear offs" are so nice and a great way to add a punch of colour

-The flowers on your first page look awesome

-Love Scriptina (who doesn't)

-the second boarding pass for the RSVP is so creative with the passenger name portion they fill in... wish you were around when I was creating mine!!!!!

Some suggestions

-I would reduce the bottom "swirl" or "flourish" on the bottom right hand side of each page where it interjects with the bar code.  I think the top looks great and the symmetry would be nice.

- I like the background graphics but consider making them translucent so that your text "pops" more against them.  This wont compromise your colours but will enhance the communication of your mesaage

-You all ready mentioned punctuation wasn't perfect on the PDF version so I don't want to rag on it but I would check that out again too if you haven't already!

I hope this was helpful and constructive.  I think you did a really amazing job and obviously put a ton of work into them.  You will be so pleased when you start hearing feedback from your guests who will truly LOVE them as they likely haven't seen boarding pass invites before!!!

Happy planning and I look forward to many more DIY projects!!!!

Thanks Tori!!

Work in progress for sure.  FI likes them, thankfully, I am actually surprised how picky he can be for someone who is so laid back about everything in life (a great balance for us).  I do have transparency on the tear off portion, I do need to make it more though so the text does pop as well as the graphics too.  I alos have switched the colors around a bit on the tear off portion so it "flows" better.

As for the puncutation, it's so weird...  I can't see the doubling of commas etc... when I print them they aren't there either (went to staples and had one printed just to see color which is not perfect, I wanted more purple and it's definitely more pink) but when i spell check the extra punc. shows up.

Again work in progress...  I apprectiate you taking the time to provide me with feedback, round 2 coming soon!  Have to go to a wedding this weekend so perhaps next week!

Latest version...

A few minor changes to be made to the structure of it - the outline needs to be a bit darker so i can see it when cutting, and the purple damask tear off portion is a hair to small compared to the others.  Thinking these could be it!

Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback, FI and I are pleased with the outcome and far more pleased that I wont be spending $300 on 10 invites!!!  As for those who can't see the attachments (including myself), I will be printing soon, once I get back from a wedding this weekend in Jersey, will post pictures soon so all can see, promise!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
