Don't be nervous!  We were married in January and everything worked out perfectly.  Once we got to Jamaica and met with the wedding planners the stress all seemed to go away and everything went great!

I'm so excited ladies!  We are 86 days out and have 49 people booked.  If we keep moving at this rate, we will probably have about 60 guests.  I must say, I didn't think this many people would be able to make the journey and I am more than thrilled.  The weekend will surely be epic!

 

Have you all vacationed at/visited your wedding venue already?

Hi there - congrats on your recent wedding! I too am considering this resort for summer 2013 - what was your impression? Is the beach nice? Is there the option of having the wedding dinner on the beach do you know? It's so hard to pick between a few resorts!

Has anyone used or booked a makeup artist OTHER than Rashel ???

She was already booked for mine..

 

I've recd a quote from Pretty Faces (rashel recommended) but she quoted me $300 for airbrush, lashes and travel. Add $100 for hair.

 

Does this seem really expensive to anyone else??

The resort was only going to be around $200 for hair AND makeup.

 

Not sure what to do

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
