Now Sapphire Weddings Formerly Paradisus Riviera

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am two weeks into my engagement but have been on this website for a few months now.  It is fabulous.  So much condensed information.  Thank you all.

I am leaning towards the Now Resorts but how did you all decide between the Now Jade and Now Sapphire?  I am trying to figure out what the main differences are.

Thanks!

The reason I chose Now Sapphire was because it has more of a traditional Mexican feel, and the Now Jade is very modern. For my wedding, I preferred that. I am sure you can't go wrong with either, but I was very happy with our wedding at Now Sapphire and I can't imagine having had it anywhere else!

i am currently ready to book at the Now Sapphire. How was your wedding?  Are there any photos you could share?

Where did you have your reception and ceremony?

Is there anything you would suggest for a future bride to add on? Dj, Decor? etc

Hi Sandy,

I was thinking of having my ceremony at the Gazebo. Is this a popular choice?i cant seem to find any pictures of it. My fiance wants the reception to be as private as we can have it.

Do you happen to have any pictures you can post? Also is the reception private? I am wanting to have a dj but like many others im not sure if its worth paying that much for a few hours. Can you extend your party to a later time?

I worked with Wendy Hicks from Wright Travel who I believe is a sponsor of this forum and everything has worked out great so far.  We will arrive at Now Sapphire in 9 days.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
