I just sent my program outline to the printers.  Im getting married November 21 on tequila terrace.  I also have no clue as to who is our officiant or how the schedule will go so I just had the day and time, parents, grandparents, wedding party and a special thanks.

No clue if they take off $ from your wedding package, I would assume no.  I also have the Divine and am using an outside photog so for cocktail hour Im going to use the resort to capture that as I will be with wedding party taking pics at that time.

I'm ready to just say F' it to the whole package and just go to the buffet. That is so insane to me. For got sakes we are already paying for ALL INCLUSIVE!! What are you guys doing and how are you dealing with extra costs and what not??

I feel your pain! My guest list keeps growing...up to 70ppl now.  stressed.out.

Since the meal is included up to 25 people already in the package, if you decide to do the buffet how do they adjust the cost? I am forwarding all my questions to my travel agent (she seems to have very quick responses from Ramon:) So I will keep you posted on what I hear!

Yes please! I think your dinner is going to be like $99 person. You may be able to see if you could use the "Silver" menu to make it cheaper per person. Keep me up to date.

Honestly if you have 70 people LTLFAITHY had a great idea about having a buffet. We don't have enough to do that but it certainly is a lot cheaper!

Has anyone had their reception on the beach terrace? Seems like the Tequilla Terrace is the most popular but from other reviews I've read said to becareful of the Tequilla Terrace if you want to wear high heels becuase there is gaps in the patio wood. So I chose the beach terrace. If you have pic of the beach terrace I'd looove to see them.

Has anyone had luck contacting a florist? I've emailed many vendors and got a 1500$ quote (yikes) and others have not responded.  Im getting down to crunch time and still have hope on saving some $$ in this area and not going through the resort.

I have found an online florist that deals with silk flower arraingements. Prices are waaaay reasonable and I don't have to worry about sending money to a foreign account. Since my maids will be hold the dang flowers for a total of 20 min I'm just going to have them place their bouquets in vases on the table. Heaven forbid you want centerpieces from the resort. They're like $120 per piece.

I love this idea of using silk flowers! I am already spending the money on outside photographer and DJ and honestly the flowers are the least of my worries but I know I need something! I was just worried about getting the silk flowers there without damaging them..do you have a plan for that yet?
