Now Sapphire Weddings Formerly Paradisus Riviera

I am taking the majority of my items to keep costs lower. I got chair sashes online for .55 cents a sash and overlays for the tables. I made little out of town bags for guests that will include any information they need, sunglasses, koozies, and some other little things. I made all my centerpieces, program fans and also made maracas. I have battery operated starfish lanterns as others have said real yea lights will not stay lite because of the wind. It does get breezy at night. Our groomsmen all have starfish bout. And the bridesmaid have silk white calla Lillie's. I will try and attach some pictures of some things I've made. Everything I made will fit in one suitcase and am also going to put a few items in some relatives that have a little extra room in their checked bags.
I love your pics!! Helpful to know I can save my making/bringing my own!

So happy for you! Congratulations!!!

Hi ladies, just finishing up our week at NOW! Its been fantastic! The wedding was beautiful, of course there is always a few glitches, not necessarily on the resort end. Will be home on Tuesday to tell you all about it. But yes, the meeting with Anel/Ramon clears up any changes additions, etc and they are very accommodating, we even had to change the time less than 24 hours ahead due to a flight problem and they were accommodating can't wait to share more, will do a detail summary when get back stateside!

Hi ladies! I am currently at my second destination for my honeymoon but just wanted to mention that we had the most amazing experience at the Now Sapphire this past week and our wedding really was a dream come true! Our guests literally thanked US for opening their eyes to this resort and for choosing to do a destination wedding. We had a beautiful welcome party on the beach, our ceremony on the beach terrace and reception on tequila terrace. We wouldn't have changed a thing! I have tons of pics of all location set ups thanks to my awesome guests. Can't wait to share!!

I know its frustrating but we actually only had email contact with them once before we arrived. At the meeting 2 days prior to the wedding we went over the entire planning sheet and they were very accommodating for changes and things we had not filled out that we were questioning. Then a day before the wedding we had to move the time due to a flight delay and they were accommodating to that too. The resort is beautiful, our group of 48 had a great time and complimented us on our choice. I had some small issues that I'll address in my review and I think I have another phone number and email you can use to reach them, let me find those and get them back to you tomorrow.

Congrats, the pictures so far look great. Where were you going to do you review? I would love to read and get some more updates. Our wedding isn't until June, so I'm ready to do things, but I need to just enjoy the quiet time right now. :)

Thank you so much for your comment!  I'm getting married in February with the same plans lined up that you mentioned and it got me very excited, despite the difficulties I've had getting in contact with Anel and Ramon.  It's easy to get lost in the details.  Trusting, based on all the reviews, it will all work out in the end!

Congratulations by the way!

Your pictures look awesome!!!  I leave on the 16th of this month.  I can't believe how soon it is!  Two weeks today until the big day! :D

I am pretty laid back about how the wedding will go.  I am confident in the wedding coordinators, I know they will do a great job! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
