Well, my wedding is next month and it's time to really make some decisions.  I have been on the fence about both a videographer and a DJ.  I would really like to have both, but financially I'm not sure I can swing it.

So Quick Poll - If you could only have one, either a DJ or  Videographer, which would it be?

My wedding is the same day! Maybe we'll bump into each other! Good luck and happy planning :D we're so close!

@@TCM4252015 - We are both the day before you on the 24th, so we will all be there at the same time!  So excited!

I couldn't decide between the DJ and the videographer - so I booked both!  I started feeling guilty after I did it but my fiance is so great, he said obviously it's what I really wanted, so it's fine.  :)  Such a lucky girl!

That is great he is so supportive. We have both as well. Lol

I'm super excited as well. Just ready for a vacation and a wonderful day. I am in the midst of sending program details to the stationary designer.

@@breanna - Yes we are close!  I'm freaking out a little bit, I feel like there is still SO much to do!  How are your plans coming along?

We're pretty much all set with everything! I have the suitcase packed with our decor, and a few more I've started with our clothes.

We only hired a DJ, Disco Movil. We will use the free ceremony video and just set up a camera in a tripod during reception.

We just have to finish filling out the wedding form and we're ready to go!

I can't wait! See you down there lol

I wish I was as ready as you two are!  I'll get there :)   I hired Disco Movil as well - I guess that makes it easier on them - two weddings at the same resort, same day LOL.  I think that all of this would be easier if I wasn't so OCD!  I'm trying to let go a bit just to get things finished.

Well, now I'm frustrated.  I was thinking for some reason that our ceremony was 4:30pm, that's what I put on my invitations and told all the vendors - now Juan Carlos says I am scheduled for 4pm and it can't be changed.  It's a good thing I haven't had my programs or welcome letters printed yet!  I have to rework the whole schedule!!! UGH!!

My OCD is not happy today - someone please pass the wine so Bridezilla stays in check.

Ugh that is annoying! On the bright side, most people probably won't remember the time you put on the invitation and most probably will leave it home and not bring them down to Mexico.

I have t made programs or welcome letters yet, just curious what are you putting on them? And what is your wedding time line? Our ceremony is at 6 and once we wrote out our timeline it looks like dinner won't be until 830...just curious how other brides timelines look.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
