Happy new year ladies!

I'm just a few weeks away and it's crunch time!

For those doing a night time reception on the terraces, are you going with the extra lights or no lights?  I asked Ramon several times and he has reassured me that the standard lighting is sufficient; however, I'm concerned it might still be too dark.

In November the sun sets very early.  During our dinner it was dark and the lighting supplied by the resort was perfect!  You have nothing to worry about.  Trust in Ramon, he knows what he is doing and is wonderful!!

@@jh0510038, I'll be there right after you!  I'm still waiting on some confirmations from Ramon as well and am starting to get a bit nervous.  We haven't sent our wedding form in because we haven't finalized everything... Ah!

It's ok to send it in before things are finalized.  The form is to give the planners a good idea of what you want and to get the ball rolling before you arrive.  I left a LOT on my form blank when I sent it in.  At the meeting we had with Ramon 2 days before the wedding we went over the entire form and he helped us fill in the blanks.  He provided great suggestions for things I was not certain of.

Things will be wonderful!  Try not to stress ;)

I had seen people post before about having a signature cocktail at their cocktail hour and reception..is this something included with the package or is that extra cost?

This was included for us in the Divine package.  You list the ingredients for your signature cocktail in the planning form that is sent in 30-40 days prior to your wedding.  We for some reason had 2 signature cocktails - one during cocktail hour and then a second different drink (again your choice) was served with dinner- after appetizers before the main course.  I thought it was a nice touch!

Ramon is certainly an efficient Coordinator/Planner I have had the pleasure to work several times with him and all my brides are always pleased with his work, also I can say I am pleased working with him, some other P/C does not care art all about out side vendors, besides Now Sapphire that vendor very very nice, I love this place! I jus finish a wedding here and I will post to help some brides to organise and plan their day!

Best!

Ivan!

Yes the signature drink is included in the Divine package and as Dina Q to be said the planning form give you an option for the cocktail hour and one during the reception.

Hey all!  I am getting to the point where I need to decide if I am going to ship stuff to the resort in advance or carry it all down with us.  I like the idea of it being there ahead of time, but also I'm nervous about things going missing, or not arriving in time.  Did anyone ship down there?  what was your experience?

Has anyone used or using Floreria Riviera for their flowers? Had contact with?

I reached out to them in November, made arrangements, and paid for my flowers (a lot of money). I now cannot get in contact with Alina. I have reached out twice now and no luck. The facebook page is no longer available as well as twitter. My wedding is ten days away. FREAKING OUT!

Worst case scenario you can still likely get flowers from the resort (at least the ones included in your package!).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
