Where did you buy the chair sashes and napkins? What was the vendors name on Etsy? Did you get charged $1 per chair for bringing your own chair sashes?

Napkins I got from amazon check on there! $1 a napkin. Plain white comes in your wedding package. Extra $4 charge for color napkins. You can bring your own chair sashes they charge $1 to tie them.

@@jh0510038 agreed on the outrageous floral prices! I hadn't realized how close your date is! You must be so excited! As for me, I joined here the day we sent our deposit to Anel, and I'm getting eaten up with anxiety over the costs already! Yes, if you could let me know if Ramon takes any issue with continuing to meet the florists outside the gates that would be much appreciated! I actually just received some prices from Florerias Lucy and they are FAR more reasonable, but she said she wasn't aware that meeting the brides outside the gates was no longer an option. Maybe they've resorted back to allowing this practice? I really hope so!

@@jeffandrobyn thanks for all the suggestions! I've already spent several late nights going back through these threads and bookmarking Oriental Trading Company and other wholesale providers of things like table runners, sashes, etc. My guest list is much larger than I anticipated so I'm definitely going to have to forego their decoration fees and the like so that I can keep my costs down. I will definitely look into Disco Movil since I see 2 recs for them in a row!!

The expense really gave me a lot of anxiety I just decided I would bring a lot saving me a significant amount of money. If anyone is flying southwest they get two free bags checked so I am passing luggage to family.

You mentioned your guest list is larger then anticipated, how many do you have attending?

@@megmcd412 when I was trying to book they took a long time to get back to me and so that is normal, I ended up calling multiple times because her assistant kept saying she wasn't available and I was in a crunch because we were giving guests a 10 month notice which worked out but it was very frustrating at first but after that was booked it's been smooth sailing from there. Sounds like others got a response eventually. I didn't end up getting the day I wanted by the time I got through to them but I'm happy regardless with what I got!

Hi ladies! I am in the process of booking with Now for the end of July 2015! I'm so excited but I have so many questions!  Two specific things.  We are considering going with the free package and just adding on a few things.  Does anyone know if their is a way to do a dinner reception after without having to pay PP?  It doesn't have to be a set menu, even if it was in the buffet and we could just have a semi private area?  Not sure if they would do that.  Also, I'm trying to find the prices for the salon?  Anyone have those?  Thanks!

Congrats on the engagement! I have the spa prices I can email you.

I cannot answer your other question, ask your wedding planner once it is assigned. I am sure it is an option if you do no have that many guest. Let me know what other questions you have I am getting very close to my date and have asked 100 questions and was very overwhelmed at first.

Congrats! I'm a July bride too :)

To answer your questions:

1. If you just show up impromtu with a group for dinner after your ceremony, they won't take more than 10 people at a table. However, you could get your entire group together in a semi-private area I believe, for about $24 per person.

2. Prices for the salon you can find on my wedding website. (I'm totally type A. lol). Just go to the FAQ page. The site is www.jeffandrobyn2015.com.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
