We'll all be there are the same time. My wedding is on April 25, 2015 I keep jumping back and forth between a 5pm wedding and a 6pm wedding. I'm excited though.

That would be great if you could give me a review of the DJ when you get back!

Coral, navy and gold sounds so beautiful! Mine is blush, beige and gold. My email is bredagostino@yahoo.com. Thanks so much!

For flowers I'm using the resort florist. I feel like it's just easier to stick with them. We're doing Calla Lillie's for the bouquets and I'm also thinking of adding flowers to the arch for the ceremony. What are you doing for flowers/who are you using?

As far as flowers I am still deciding. Ramon quoted me $1250 for a tall centerpiece and $800 for a short one and $350 for a bridal bouquet because I want to use a mix of orchids, roses and lillies, which are considered premium flowers. Those prices are simply outrageous. He explained that they are premium but still. Its outrageous. I believe calla lilies are premium flowers also.

I've been quoted better prices from other florist and even with the $300 fee they are 50-60% below what I was qputed by the resort.

I am using an outside vendor for flowers! I cannot justify the resorts prices. I can let you know how my flowers are in a few months .

Great! I'm likely going with Maya Floral. I'm constant contact with Mavin and he is doing my samples now. Let me know if you can indeed get around that $300 fee if someone meets the florist. I can't wait to hear all about your wedding. Your date is so close.

The calla lilies bouquet is one of the picture under the divine package. I thought those came free with the Divine and $65 for bridal party? If not then I guess I have to start looking for outside vendors as well!

Mine is on tequila terrace! I also hired Disco Movil, I will give a review and let you know how there are when I get back.  My theme, is just really elegant and classy. I am using shades of coral and navy, bringing gold into the decor. 35 guest under 10k you can do that! I have about 60 guest and that is where it gets really expensive for every guest for the 25 included in the package. I will send you the budget sheet I have, what is your email?

What are you doing for flowers?

@@jh0510038, can you also send me the budget sheet you have?  I'd like to get a better idea of the costs I may be overlooking - such as tax, tip, etc.  My email is jolie.vidal@@gmail.com. Thanks!

I have a serious question. We booked our wedding January in 2014. At that time the 2014/2015 pricing was $2,999 for the divine package. Now it seems the pricing is for the package is $3299.00. I emailed Ramon buy I was wondering if someone else has had that issue and if so did they honor the original price?

Few questions ladies.

Is using an outside florist really that much cheaper than the resort? Some of the pricing I got back makes it seem like they are very close in price.

Anyone having an evening wedding on the tequila terrace? What are you doing about lighting? I got pictures back from Juan Carlos and it looks like there are only two small flood lights. It is $850 plus tax to get Chinese lanterns. Any other ideas???

Does anyone know how much it costs to rent table runners and napkins?

Any suggestions on how to get in touch with guests without using international rates?

Just got back from a week a Sapphire! My daughter's wedding was perfect! Juan Carlos did an amazing job! I have no clue how to post pictures here but I wish I did! We used the resort florist and the flowers were beautiful! I took some back to my room after the reception and they still looked great when we left today!(I passed them off to someone staying a few more days!) They did a beautiful job on the girls' hair and make-up! We took a Harmon/Kardon bluetooth speaker and it was great! We included a lazzo ceremony and the Lazzo was beautiful! We used it on the sweetheart table with the centerpiece. The officiant did a wonderful job incorporating it into the ceremony! If you can tell me how, I will add some pics!

Everything looks beautiful. What items did your daughter bring and what did she rent? Where did she get the chevron table runner? What was the price for each bouquet? Was this wedding in the morning or evening? What was the lighting like?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
