Hi! I'm in the same boat- put my Save the dates in mail last week and now am seriously in need of booking my outside vendors before they all are bookeD! Has anyone heard of Jhankarlo Amaro or had him as a photographer? I love his work and found him from a bride on this site. However, I don't see many reviews online about him and this worries me because pictures are so important to me! 

 

ANyone who has done or will do TTD session...I'm thinking of buying a really cheap dress to wear for underwater pictures because 1, I'm scared I will drown in my huge princess dress and 2. My dress was expensive and I don't want to rruin it. What are you guys doing?

My wedding is Nov 1 and I just completed my wedding planning form (which took MUCH longer than planned) and I'm going to send to my travel agent to have her send to Anel this week. She said we should send it in 1 month prior to the wedding date.

  I asked Anel a few weeks ago about spa appointments but haven't heard back...My requested appointments for me and my bridesmaids are included in the wedding form but I really hope they can accommodate us at this point since we don't have any other options!

Sorry about blank comment-not as savvy on my iPhone! We wanted to do a TTD but just didn't have enough time w/ guests in town. However, we're going back for our anniversary (probably not staying at NOW but going to Tulum. We've already told Amorcito Corazon studio that we'll be doing a belated TTD then ... With a cheaper fake wedding dress!!

I am planning to purchase and bring a Ipod dock bose sound system as we have a small group of 25 on the beach terrace for the reception. Apparently you can use a microphone with them too, just not the same time as the music is playing!

Hi all! I am in the middle of booking our ceremony May 8th, 2014 at the tequila terrace! We have sent our reservation to Anel but are still awaiting a conformation!

 

I did have a question regarding photography. We do not want to use the resort photographer but also don’t want to spend a fortune. We are only looking for about 2-3 hours as we are just having an intimate ceremony of less than 20 people. I am hesitant about hiring someone down there and it end up being a scam where I never receive my pictures! Does anyone have any recommendation of well priced photographers that we can trust?

We are actually doing a TTD shoot with the resort photographer. We hired an outside vendor for the actual wedding and sense we didn't want to lose that 1 hour photo session and I think heck we are getting married at the beach we have to go in the water!! I found an actual wedding dress for $50, I think I'm going to wear it for our civil ceremony back home and then the day after we plan to get up early and do a TTD in the water around the resort. I was with you I didn't want to ruin "the dress" in the water.

We bought a new Bose speaker on Ebay with a carrying case to take on the place for $200 and you can buy the bluetooth for about $12 (so you don't have to keep your phone plugged into it and can change songs remotely if you want). 

 

Spa appointments look like they can be made in the paperwork that you send a month ahead of time.
