Hi girls! I was wondering if any now sapphire brides have any comments on the videographers they have at the NOW resorts. Do you know if there is a vendor fee for videographers ? I know for photographer its only about $75 a person but for all other vendors I believe it's $300 so I was wondering what the deal is for videoagraphers. I heard the photographers weren't so good so I'm going with Del Sol but I'm still in the process of figuring out the video situation. Thanks! Brittany

Hi  Brittany,

I was just discussing this with Anel last week via email and she said:

Regarding an outside Videographer, we have the same policy as the photographer (day pass + meals)

I assume this is per person... so if your photographer or videographer have an assistant or second shooter, I'm guessing the cost is day pass + meal for each.

I found that the videographer packages are quite expensive at the resort. I plan to book with Gallardo Films... as soon as I can convince my fiancée that we need to have videography!!

hope this helps!

We had our wedding at on the Tequilia Terrace, but we did see the beach Terrace.  It fairly exposed to the pool area, so if you were getting married during the day, you would have all the pool activity going on around you.

Is there any way you can change your wedding date during your stay there>  I had originally wanted to get married at the end of the week that we were there (ie a Thursday or Friday), but they only had Tuesday available for the Tequilia Terrace.  I made the switch and took the Tuesday - and I am so so glad we did.  It was worth it!   Depends what you want though, privacy was up on my list of priority, so it was worth it for me to switch.

I got married on the beach terrace on August 17th. It was the perfect location for my crew of 46 guest. My wedding was at 5pm. The pool crowd didn't bother me one bit and they were not in any of the pictures.

I am so happy to hear that. My daughter is getting married on Jan. 10, 2014 at 3:30pm on the beach terrace. I have not seen many pics of weddings or receptions on the beach terrace. She wants to wear beautiful heels  and with the open slats on the tequila terrace heels would not work. Would love to see some of your pictures!

Brittany - I just PM'd you some info.  good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
