Now Sapphire Weddings Formerly Paradisus Riviera

Recommended Posts

Hey All! Got to Now Sapphire today for our anniversary trip! We were met by Anel and Ramin at check-in and were once again given outstanding service! I love this place! Today everyone was welcoming us home! It really does feel like home! We saw many of our favorite employees from last year including Jorge the bellman and Hugo our favorite buffet server! They actually remembered us! If feeling at home is important to you, you can't go wrong with Now Sapphire. <3 this place!

Anel just emailed me and told me its 1,000. I'm bummed I was really wanting that but there's no way that will fit our budget.
I had to cancel it out of my budget as well. I have 45 guest coming and I have the Divine Package. There is no way I'm giving up an additional $900-$1000. My wedding is in 7 weeks and we are already up to $9000.

OUCH!!  I am sure that extra cost is mostly from the extra guests.... Is that $9000 only what you will pay the resort, or does it include rings, dress, etc?

$9000 is what I will pay the resort. It does not include dress, rings, welcome bags, etc

Hi ladies! I have a few questions that Ramon has not been able to answer. Has anyone attempted to wear platform heels for a beach ceremony? Does anyone have a seating chart for the Beach Terrace? It seems so narrow and I am not sure how all the tables, bar and dance floor will fit. We also need to get our table cards printed so it would be good to know where the tables go. Has anyone tried to use the square or long rectangle tables on the Beach Terrace? Ramon said that I should use flashless (LED) candles but I prefer the real ones. We also don;t want to pay to have our gift bags delivered. Any options? Any help would be great!

May I ask what all is included in the $9000??
Welcome Party, Wedding, Cocktail Hour and reception for 45 people, labor for decorations, use of sound system and one hour extended reception. I am bringing all of my decorations, however, I have to pay for them to put sashes on the chairs, etc..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
