The chair set up is the same for the eternity package. That's the package we have. Since you have so many guests you may be able to qualify for the buffet option instead of plated. That may save you some $$$.

We didn't send out STD because the guests that are going to Mexico already knew so from the moment we were engaged. We knew we wanted a DW so we made sure people knew well in advanced. We just sent out invites and on our invites and RSVP we put our wedding websites.

Thanks! That's kind of what I was thinking as well, just sending invitations and putting the RSVP's on the website. Also because people would have all the info in one place :)

Do you happen to know how much a taxi was to Puerto Morelos?

Thanks!

Dina,

From the airport to Puerto Morelos it is 70$, and from Puerto Morelos to airport is 45$, my sister-in-law took the cab both ways.

I only took the cab to PDC, for 45$. My other sister-in-law took the cab from PDC to Puerto Morelos and said it was 40$ including tip.

Hi Hayleymarch13,

I know, we never get enough replies, and never quickly enough... But they read their emails and they do their adjustments on their worksheet. At the wedding coordination meeting with Ramon a few days prior/on arrival to the resort, they had all my info. Ramon was going over the planning form sheet, in a rather non-challant/quickly way. I realized after, that I, ME, was the one who wanted to spend more time, but HE doesn't need to. Anel and Ramon have it SO SO SO under control. Yes, they extremely busy with most of the time 3 weddings per day !!! I decided on the dinner menu like 7 days prior to my departure...I just email that bit to them and that's what we confirmed at the meeting. The only thing that was left as a surprise was my bouquet: I sent them pictures of what I liked, and I was very pleased with it. I gave them my printed menus, name cards and favors two days before the ceremony without real instructions (they had the seating chart) and they just placed it neatly: the menu in the material napkin and the name card on top. I guess I should have told them to put the favors on a corner of the name card (b/c that's how I wanted it), instead the favors were next to the plates near the forks.

What budget sheet are you looking for exactly ? I created my own with what was spent so far, and the expected expenses still to pay... I also have my bill in my pictures, you can look at it.

Cheers

Sunnymylene thank you so much for your response and for putting my mind at rest, it is so nerving as I work full time and a mum and so only have the weekends to arrange the wedding and with 2 weekends left I wanted to get as much done this weekend as possible.

I sent over my wedding sheet to Anel with some queries regarding some parts which have not been responded to and so unsure what we are paying for certain parts of the day which is where the budget sheet would come in handy. I have had a few girls on here send them through so thank you so much for the offer but I have been roughly working from these but need Anel to confirm the final points before I know what what is expected to pay! I am sure all this worry and stress is just normal a few weeks before the wedding, I am looking forward to getting there and talking face to face! Thanks again for your response xx

Set up and white decoration is included in the eternity package. I just emailed Anel and she said the white linens for chairs and arch are included in all the packages. It doesn't state that on the comparisson sheet but in the detail section that he emailed me it says it's included in all packages so I emailed her to double check. I can forward the email to anyone who would like it. Also paper lanterns I got online for around $1 - $2 but shipping was expensive. Ended up spending $65 for 30 lanterns I did see on my price sheet the resort charges $2 per lantern. I'm sure there is tax and service charge on those also.

Amanda, Thanks for clarifying that about the setup and decor. Not that its gonna change anything for me since I got married last month... But that is a huge deal to be clarified on their comparison sheet and more explicit details in their booklet. I basically took the divine for the included decor. It didn't even cross my mind to ask if it was in the eternity package ! Ladies, if I would have known, I would have gone for the eternity 1- I didn't really want the videographer and honestly the final cut is rather poor in quality, it doesn't play in my Xbox, the music is not to our liking, I think our guests would have done a similar job and we could probably get it edit by a friend... 2- the guitarist was good and worth paying for, I wasn't too fussy about not having a song of our choice being played in the audio system for me to go down the aisle; I wouldn't have had the tine to choose a song to play in the system from our playlist 3- the romantic dinner in the beach was a good add but it only took us away from our guests for an hour, an hour too muh away from them. We ate fast and left. It was delicious, it gave us an excellent idea of the wedding menu since we hose something very similar. Make of this what you want, otherwise my day was fantastic and went without a tick !!! I'm just a bit annoyed to have spent 700$ that could have gone to something else or in my pocket !!! I will write to Anel and Ramon about this.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
