Thanks!

I was curious to know if anyone can shed some light into how much your guests paid per night per room?  When I look online I am getting approximately 300-400$/night.  That seems very high to me.  Did anyone find any good deals for your guests?  If so, where, and how much?

Thanks!

You can't alter the packages in that you can't substitute things, or take the "cost" of something that you might not use and apply it to the cost of something else. But it you don't want to have the cocktail hour, so that you don't have to pay the additional $$ for that over the 25, you have that option. Hope that helps a bit.

Hi Dina!

I had great luck when dealing with the group reservation department. Lizbeth has been amazing and responds to e-mails quickly the e-mail i have is (groupops1.nosrc@nowresorts.com) We were able to get a rate of 135 per person per night (270 a night - double occupancy).

I would definitley suggest to go that way, and i was looking at around 375 per night on other discount sites!

Hello past brides and any future brides in the know, I am getting married at Now Sapphire on February 21, 2013 and have just been asked to choose what we want our cake to look like. I'm wondering if anyone can assist in this department? I know what I want it to look like but have heard the cake never looks like the picture you give them. Has anyone been married at sapphire and have a picture of an actual cake they decorated? It would be nice to see some of their work and pick something the same or similar. Thank you all :) I'm getting sooooo excited now!

Hey Dina-

Don't know if you have already purchased air and what not so I'm speaking from our own personal experience here. We decided to go through a TA who used Apple Vacations. I feel between our TA and Apple they are able to negotiate better prices because they block rooms off and have chartered flights. So for example I believe my FI and I are paying about $1375 for Ocean Front with flight for 6nights so like $229 a night but that is including the flight in there. Anyways, prices are going up by the day so if I were you I would jump on the ball. We used a TA cuz we didn't want to play everyone's traveler coordinator. Also, we and our guests were able to put a deposit of $250 per couple down to lock in our prices/trip. Let's face it not everyone has $3000+ just laying around. If you don't really want to go the TA route then I would suggest contacting the groups department ASAP at the resort. There are a ton of TA's on this site or you can PM for our TA's contact info! Good luck to you!

Best,

Melissa

Hi Jennifer,

I believe TulumBride is doing a Tequilla tasting. I thought that was a fun and creative idea. Ours might be as simple as meeting in the lobby bar and then going out to the beach at the resort for their movie night or beach fire. Still haven't really put it all together yet...I'm trying to get throught Christmas first. Good luck to you!

Best,

Melissa

Hello Ladies,

has anyone used/booked Adrian Guerra to do their hair/makeup at the Now Sapphire?  i read in an earlier post that the resort charges a $300 outside vendor fee.  My sister got married at the Barcelo Colonial last january; they also had an outside vendor fee, but did not charge her for using Adrian because apparently he has a deal worked out with some of the wedding coordinators at some resorts so the brides wont have to pay the vendor fee if they use him.

has anyone getting married or already married at the Now Sapphire encountered this?

Thanks!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
