Hi everyone I am new to the group! We are getting married at the NOW sapphire on April 6th, 2013. I am having the Divine package and have the Tequilia Terrace reserved for the reception ( I believe pool area for cocktails?) I am using Photos in Cancun. They have great prices & Derek is very quick to respond to emails. And best of all, he has photographed at the NOW Sapphire multiple times, so he's familiar with the resort. 

 

As far as responses go, they are just slow. It is frustrating, but if you haven't heard back after a week, email again. If you still haven't heard back a few days later, email again. If you bug them enough, they'll email back. It's just how things are there. But rest assured, once you get there, they are very accommodating and will answer any and all questions you have!

 

Nels, is that the resort photographer that you are using (i.e., the one that comes in the package?)

I am having a welcome party for all my guests after the rehearsal dinner on friday night, so I am going to try & use the photographer that's included in the package for that. I've emailed Anel about it, just waiting for a response.

Wow, I am so glad I found this forum!! I just confirmed my wedding date at Now Sapphire for November 8th 2013. I have browsed most of the thread and had most of my questions answered (thanks to you ladies!), however there is one thing I am absolutely TERRIFIED about. My hair and makeup. I have a hairdresser on my guest list, and as long as my brother keeps dating her (ha), I know she would be happy to do my hair. My makeup on the other hand...yikes! Anyone go elsewhere for hair and makeup? If you had yours done at the resort, how did you feel about it? Did it turn out fabulous..or just ok?? (sorry if this was already asked).

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
