Travel Mugs as Favours

Recommended Posts

And something else to think about, ladies....depending on if you want to go to the expense (which you'll likely spend money taking them regardless), but most wedding coordinators seem to be ok with couples shipping things down ahead of time. Depending on weight or whatever, that may be more feasible for some than others in terms of expense. But it is something to think about. Saves you a lot of hassle at the airport leaving during an already stressful (but happy)time.

I think I will see how much Discount Mugs charges to ship samples to Canada, if it's still fairly reasonable I will order some samples from there, there are 2 or 3 styles I really like! I can get them with the white imprint area and then Aqua blue writing which would be my colours! Hooray! If Samples arent an option for me I am just going to decide on one and order soon! I will post pics once I have them! :)

When requesting the samples from their website do it in the section where you can actually write in your request! Instead of $5 a piece you get them all for $5! (Thanks for the heads up on that!)

We are getting these Promotional Travel Mugs - Personalized Travel Mug, 16oz Travel Mug, Travel Coffee Mugs, Custom Travel Mug in AQUA and the price really isn't too bad. We're getting 75-100, so our price per mug is pretty afforadble ... but if you bump up your numbers to at least 36, your price will only be $2.99 each.

They sent me a sample and we really like them.

I requested samples of 5 different style mugs and this mug in several different colors -- and they sent me ALL OF THEM (one sample each) for $5.95. This mug style was our favorite -- as well as this color but they have a TON of colors in this style.

I also checked this style at several different websites and Discount Mugs is by far the most inexpensive.

What I would like is something in Aqua which seems to be very hard to find!

Scroll down a few posts & you will see Susan's travel mugs. They turned out really cute! I think you would call them aqua. They are also stuffed with wedding favors.

Are you shipping these ahead of time or bringing them with you?
We are taking them with us. We'll just pay for the extra baggage and ship them in the box they are delivered to us in.

We've been told NOT to pre-ship to the DR -- so you ladies marrying in Jamaica, Mexico and other places are lucky!

They are also delivered in their own individual boxes, so I will likely add colored ribbon to the mugs and attach a hang tag with each person's name and have them sitting at a separate table from where they will pick up their OOT bags so it appears they're getting even more "goodies".

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
