I paid for the 4 bridesmaids dresses. (they will have to pay for their own alterations). The dresses cost about 210 each. I'm also paying for their makeup. We have a great makeup artist traveling to our hotel for the day. They will be responsible for their own hair and can get it done at the hotel Spa. In a canvas tote bag with a palm tree and a little initial i am putting together a gift bag as well. I  bought JCrew necklaces for each of them. (i think they were like 98 bucks each but I got the employee discount so they were prob closer to 60 or 70 each.) They can wear these with their dresses. I also bought lounge chair beach towels with their names on them too. I like these because they won't fall off their chair like regular beach towels and will be really long. I also made hangers with the names and dates on them to hang their dresses on. (using vinyl decals). I am thinking to get something else for their tote bags...thinking something like flip flops not sure yet. Plus I want to get my MOH something extra and nice.

I am doing custom made clutches (which they are using in lieu of flowers at the ceremony), silk robes for the wedding morning, the custom hanger for their dress, along with their hair/makeup and wedding day jewelry. I will also pay for their dresses. For the guys, my FI will be buying their ties, and buying them watches.

Oh wow!  I like the idea of custom made clutches.

I found these cute little emergency kits for bridesmaids HERE

I will try to upload a picture when I get home later...

So I haven't found a recent post on this! What is everyone getting for their bridesmaids and Maid of Honor?

Hey everyone!

Some really great ideas! Thought you brides-to-be might like to hear about our unique bridesmaids gift! :)

My co-founder and I have created a collection of unique, personalized necklaces designed to represent the meaning of names. It's an easy, yet thoughtful gift that carries a lot of meaning. Simply search their names here to find an elegant sterling silver pendant, personalized just for them.

Because our necklaces all have the same look and feel, they accessorize any bridesmaids dress perfectly (we've had many wear them the day of!). Here's a pic to show you what they look like on!:

All necklaces are packaged in a little black box which details their name, its meaning, origin and what we have designed to represent their name. An extra touch that really says a personal thank you!

Have a look at our webiste. If you do not find your bridesmaids names, email me and I will gladly help you out! We also give discounts for brides, so keep that in mind ;)

I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want.

    • It’s been years... and I’m now searching for the same in Montego Bay or Negril. Did anyone ever have any luck finding?
    • Hello, I'm new to this site. I got engaged already and get married by next year. I have some doubts regarding our dating destination. Hope you will help me. Thank You!
    • Hello everyone,
Well, this upcoming valentine's day is special for me because I got engaged and planning to spend the day with my fiance. I'm planning to give her an ethical jumpsuit.

Other than that I have been searching the internet for some nice discounted coupons and searched among my friends and found different sites. Now, we are looking forward to that wonderful day. We searched a lot and found out, Escape The City. Orangeville is a great place for a day trip or weekend gateway from Toronto.
Theatre Orangeville is offering a weekend package that includes 2 tickets to a Live performance at the theatre, Premium Overnight Accommodations at Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn and Suites and $75 Downtown Wine and Dine Voucher which is valid at select Downtown restaurants, and Free Entry to the scenic Trails & Bridges of Island Lake.

We are so excited and eagerly waiting for that day.
If anyone has got any other suggestions for the venue, kindly share your thoughts/ideas.
      Thank You!

    • Please tell me, the best wedding venue in Saskatoon, SK.
    • Hey everyone! Like the others here, I'm interested in wedding reception, venue and all related steps & stuff. Starting with my first and the most important note is that we're international couple and we need to think of bilingual wedding. So the first thing we need to think of is whether it will be interpretation or 2 different venue coordinators, sermons and stuff? What is your experience, what could be the best and affordable solution? From googling the issue I've found this Interactio app team ( describing possible solution here  http://blog.interactio.io/case-study-weddings )Basically they offer to hold the venue in the main language, additionally providing simultaneous interpretation online to other quest's mobile phones. Looks like really easy and creative idea. What about the others? How did you solve this kind of obstacle? Any additional advises would be very welcomed here
