    Coconoir1908,

I forgot to answer your question about the photographer, his name is Edson.  This is his website:

I am soo looking foward to TTD and I really want to use my actual wedding dress but it has flower feathers on it.  Has anyone else had a dress with feathers on it and if so how it turn out after all the water and sand?

I wrote a blog post on my site about some of the questions surrounding the decision to re-wear or not to re-wear your wedding dress. Check it out if you have a moment!

I'm not sure about feathers. Have you asked the bridal shop or tried contacting the designer (even if it's just via email) to ask this question? It might be easier to narrow down if someone has worn it for a TTD? Just a thought :) Another idea would be to go on the designer's Facebook page (if they have one) and post the question. Good luck!

Oh thank you for the suggestion of contacting the designer I hadn't even thought of that option!  Oh and for the bridal shop when I mentioned that I was going to do a TTD they gave me crazy looks! lol so no help there.

No problem! Well, I guess we can't expect everyone to understand the creativity and beauty behind such an amazing photo session :) As a designer I'm so excited when brides tell me they'll be wearing my jewels for a TTD - the photos are incredible! Good luck with everything!

One more thought in case the designer can't give you an answer on it - ask them if they'll mail you a swatch with feathers attached and you could always submerge in water yourself for a DIY test! :)
