I was really against the TTD at first as I didn't want to ruin my dress... but after seeing so many fun, gorgeous pictures (and my FI being in love with the idea) I caved. I'm not even buying a cheaper dress to use. The way I look at it, I'm not selling the dress and it'll mean so much more to me when I look at it years from now knowing all of the fun I had in it.
We've already booked the session with our photographer for the day after the wedding... I can't wait to run into the water with my dress on lol...

Yes... its a full on obsession.  We have transportation to pick you up, we take you on a tour to see some locations that are unbelievable, just natural eye candy.   We have wetsuits and I usually go underwater with a tank and do some diving on these shoots.  Our team also is assisting us (1 assistant on lighting in the water) and 1 assistant outside the water... to get results like this, it honestly is quite a lot of hard work and ultimately if it all comes together a technical master piece.

Just understand the amount of equipment used at any one of these sessions rivals that of buying a house. :)

good luck and we hope you choose to have fun with your day after session...

here is one more photo for inspiration:

I LOVE looking at these pictures! It never gets old. I know that my mom is SO not thrilled with the idea of "trashing" my dress, but for such incredible pictures I think its worth it! Who says your dress would be totally "trashed" anyways! Well lets hope for MY sake that my dress would stay nice so my mom doesn't give me a good beating! HaHaHa!!!

I'm so excited to work with you Matt! I'm just counting down the days until you work your magic! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
