"Girlie" Excursions??

I've been thinking about doing something like this. On the day before the wedding, as a last day of freedom kind of thing...going to name it that on our newsletter!hee hee

anyhoo, i'm thinking the boys will either go snorkelling or try get jet-sky's or something water related anyway! you know what boys are like! i had originally thought about golf, but all the guys are football guys - not golf at all! so can't imagine them taking the urge to play in the heat in cancun!lol

for the ladies, i'm thinking going and swimming with dolphins - but i'm a bit worried there are boys who want to do that as well and don't want to start splitting couples for the 2nd week of their holiday, if you know what i mean! i had thought about spa treatments, i'm not really into that, but my other ladies are, but they are very expensive - i'd quite like to keep it low cost and maybe try pay ourselves for everyone.

Thats the good thing about moon palace, the excursions are included so it could easily be done - although they don't offer the dolphins for free...but there are plenty there for us to play with!

Hi

I don't know how "girlie" this suggestion are but, anyways, here they go...

You can try swiming with dolphins, at cabo dolphins

If you like sailing, there 2 America's Cup sailboats, that I've heard it's fun

Go on tour to Candelaria, is a little 100% local comunity, with some fantastic handcrafts that you can buy, and learn a little about the real local history.

If you're an adrenaline junkie, there's skydiving... AWESOME, you land on the beach...

Or like some of the ladies said, go to Mango Deck or The Office, they're both nice places right next to each other, but totally different from one another...

Cheers

How about Pedi's by the pool? I had this done in Hawaii (Maui) where they came to you at the pool so you didn't have to give up sun/cocktail time to go to the spa? I am sure if you have more than a couple to do they wouldn't have any issue doing this. JUst a thought as I was thinking about this too. Not enough time for an excursion in a week with so many planned functions and allowing people the vacation they came on.

thank you soo much for that link - and your right - the pictures are awesome! Is it based near cancun? I'd defo think there would be a few ppl up for doing it!

But I wonder, h2b done one in the uk, and they could have landed anywhere, it was based in an old airfield - so there was soo much land - pure green so not alot could go wrong, it would just be a long walk back to the base if you strayed - but it was outwith their control...so surely it must be the same for this one - especially with it being so windy in mexico - could we land in the water?! I'm not a good swimmer, so maybe not a good idea afterall sad.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
