April 22 is our dating anniversary date.. Since that day is so special to us, we can't imagine getting married on any other day!!

 

Our wedding day,  April 22, 2012 will be our seven year anniversary:)

Awww, the grandparents story is very touching.  We basically narrowed it down to a long weekend since we were asking people to travel.  We picked May because the prices weren't as outrageous as they were during high season in Feb-Mar.  So we ended up picking Memorial Day Weekend.  It also worked out that our first date was on Memorial Day Weekend 2 years before.  And this way we have a long weekend every time for our anniversary

Hey MDLady, I didn't even think of that! I have always said I would get married in the winter because I don't like the heat. But, when Brandon asked me to marry him the day before he graduated from Basic Training I said absolutely, so we eloped on May 25, 2011. Our ceremony is May 25, 2012 on our one year anniversary and coincidentally enough, Memorial Day weekend.

We picked New Years Eve as we both love the Xmas period and we thought we could leave one year "single" and enter the next as newly weds! x

We're getting married on St. Patricks Day as a way to celebrate our Irish heritage, plus, this way our families will always remember our anniversary!

Its a long story but although most couples have a song, or something....we have a number.    17.  It started out as something silly and then we see the number everywhere together, it shows up on receipts, we'll be number 17 in lines, etc. etc.  So, we didn't really care what month we got married as long as the date was the 17th!

June 20th is our anniversary. We started dating 10 years ago~

We are getting married on 11.11.11!! I always thought the dates that were like that 9/10/11, 10/10/10, 12/12/12 etc. are very unique! The date happens to fall on a Friday, so it works out well. I always see 11:11 when I look at the clock, and I figured it would be an easy date to remember! We will be married at 11:11am!!
