Bridal Party marching order???

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone!

T-5 months and my WC needs to know the order that our wedding party will march!  Whaaaa???

So, here's our "wedding party"

We have a Maid of Honor and a Best Man and 2 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen.

We are also including our sisters (my sister, my sister-in-law and my FI's sister).  Their sons will walk them down the aisle (FI's sister will be walked by her 6 year old twin boys, my sister-in-law will be walked by her 6-year old and 4-year old and my sister is my matron of honor and will be walked by her 6 year old and will hold a bouquet).

My 3 year old niece and his 20-month old nephew will be our flower girl and ring bearer.

BUT IN WHAT ORDER???

I'm going to be walking myself down the aisle (I'm fiercely independent) so I want my MoH to be with me until the last minute.

Any ideas???

I heard a lot of people these days are having the men already at the front before the wedding starts and then each girl walks down by themselves, followed by the ring bearer and flower girl (together or separate).

If you want your Maid of Honour there till the end I would say do it in order of most important to walk down last to, not as important (I know that sounds bad, because they're all important, but I don't know how else to word it)

So do your two bridesmaids, Ring Bearer & Flower Girl, then your Maid of Honour. Or switch your Maid of Honour and the kids around. I just know you said you wanted her there till the end.

Did your WC make any suggestions for you?

Most weddings I have been to the men are already standing at the front.  From there usually its the kids first, then the bridesmaids, with the MOH right before the bride.  I think you can really do it however you want to do it though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
