Losing my "wedding planning mojo" Has anyone else felt this way?

I feel exactly the same way! I started planning a year in advance and was completely enthralled, and now that I'm four months away I've kind of stalled. I really need my mojo to come back, because there's still a lot to be done before the big day! So glad to hear I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Well I lost it, it came back & now I lost it again! It's so bad I dont come on this site as much & I rarely write responses anymore. I will read a few threads & then don't even care! I don't even want to think about all the crap I still have to buy, plan & choose. To top it off my resort is screwing me with the photographer we booked. So now we have to FIGHT them which is stressing me out...ugh. I am so over with wedding planning. Here's to hoping my mojo comes back & I actually give a sh*t! lol! Man I sound miserable!!

AWWWWWW sharon, that sucks!!!!!!! dont stress to much....did you book your photographer yet? are they through the resort? or are they outside vendors? what I would do is take your deposit and RUN, there are a ton of photographers through this site that have great reviews for mexico

Just remember hun, in the end it will all work out! and it will be beautiful. youll get your mojo back I ALWAYS DO LOL

Yes & unfortunately we have been back & forth for a few weeks and they are still holding strong saying its coming from corporate, they dont do contracts blah blah. GRR! We shall see what happens I guess. Probably a good reason why I lost wedding interest! lol!

I am felling the same way. I just started feeling this way last week, because I have been engaged for over a year and I still have over a year to go.:-( Besides the fact that I have to literally HUNT people down to let me know if they plan to attend or not. I got a group rate set up and everything but it just seems people are really interested in my wedding. :-( How to I get back in the planning sprit. I know I have time but I still have TONS left to do. My year mark witll be here before I know it.

I am beginning to lose my wedding planning mojo.  We don't get married until next year so I guess that could be part of it.  I look at all the planning being threads and wonder why I am not motivated as I was in the beginning.  I am still excited but I have really lost my mojo.....

Anyone feel this way during the process?  Will this feeling go away?  HELP ME FIND MY WEDDING PLANNING MOJO!!!undecided.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
