Ladies,

I totally don't know what I was thinking, but I meant to post a week or so ago about my awesome finds at Priscilla of Boston.  Some of you may have already taken advantage of their GOING OUT OF BUSINESS sale, but I was able to purchase my Melissa Sweet Bridesmaids/Maid of Honor dresses for $35 each marked down from the original price of $268.00 and $328.00, respectively.  THIS IS DEFINITELY THE SALE OF THE YEAR.  All wedding gowns are 50% off which I didn't need because I have my dress, but seeing those prices can turn you into a Bridezilla if even for a moment :-)

Anyway, the best part was that the dresses were exactly the fabric I wanted for the beach (silk chiffon) and the color is called Cosmetic which is like a Nude (slightly peachy pink tone).  I am sooo happy.  I was dreading that my wedding party (all 3 of my sisters) would have to pay so much money for their attire and travel, etc.  But, this worked out fantastic and I just purchased the dresses and they can buy shoes and accessories.  You may have to call around to the stores if you don't have a POB in your area, but everyone is helpful and the DC store, which is closest to me in Maryland, had a great selection when I made my purchase.  My dresses were not samples, but new with tags and had never been worn.  They came straight from the warehouse.  I know that some of the stores mainly have samples.

Best wishes!

-Amber

Hi Ladies,

I am also curious about the rates for your guests. How big of a discount from the advertised rates did you get going through the TA and/or the hotel directly? A friend of mine had a destination wedding recently and was able to get a $50 discount per night/per person for regular rooms and $75 pn/pp discount for nicer rooms. Are you seeing something similar?

You can also PM me. =)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Anyone interested in a "Custom Made Wedding Website" ... let me know.  I made one for myself and then started to make them for other brides that are having destination weddings. :)   The website could be similar to this http://WWW.DEVONANDTABBY.COM or anyway you like.  I am very flexible and can really create anything you want.     I started this for myself because I HATED the wedding websites that were out on the market and especially the free ones and just made my own...    You can create your own:   Pages Pick your own Music or Play List Have tons of pages Pick from tons of colors, patterns, looks etc... basically WHATEVER YOU ENVISION! :) Endless albums Any design you want on any page Basically ... your wish is my command! YAY! Prices are from $199 - $499 depending on how many changes and pictures etc.... :)   Let me know ...   [email protected]

Hey Ladies, I have been so busy getting ready for the big day. I am viewing different websites options. Has any one completed their wedding website? If so would you be willing to share? If you want to PM or post the information that would be great.

Thanks,,,,

Have any of you Le Blanc Brides seen the New Colin Cowie Wedding Collections?  Are any of you going to use the new packages or stay with your original packages?  I contaced my Wedding Coordinator and she said that we can still use the old packages since we already booked which is great.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
