Oh Ok...I need to check out the website... I need a map of the resort too. How did you get the Tourist Guide book from the Jamaican Tourist Board?

(ps..just called a possible hair dresser..the big chop may be done this weekend!!!)  stay tuned...

uhm, i'm not doing 'favors' per se, rather i'm doing OOT bags with lots of goodies to include the following...

a Jamaica Tourist Guide book (got it for FREE from the Jamaica Tourist board - its nice and glossy and looks GREAT)

Hotel Info on the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort (printed from their website along with a resort map)

pre-boarding passes/Wedding Weekend Itinerary  (see the thread of details)

wedding survival kit (first aid kit, scrabble word-find book, deck of cards, shout wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.) - hope to finish putting those together soon...will post pics upon completion.

all of that stuff will be packaged and sent pre-boarding...so folks can pack ALL of the goods with them and we can avoid having to lug all of that stuff with us to jamaica..i always OVERPACK so the fiance is worried i'll end up owing the airlines BIG $$$ taking ALL of that stuff with us..i'm hoping to save some $$$ by mailing it out...

Yeah I am sure there are peices in hers. My hair is not quit that long but if I have the right person do it I may be open to adding some peices. If not I can still do it, I will just have a slightly shorter version.

I love the side action on several of the pics you attached even without the cornrows/two-strand twists on the side.  I think they would all look nice with a flower or feather piece.

I was just thinking today about mailing the OOT bags in advance with my pre wedding brochure.  That way they can pack and bring the stuff themselves.  If they don't oh well.  I may have to look more into that.

akamikey11....yeah, i'm going that route..i figure if i mail it out at least 4-6 weeks in advance of the travel date, i can choose the most cost-efficient means of mailing AND get everything out to folks to they can get excited about the trip AND have the OOT stuff act as an 'indicator' of what to expect from our big day!

plus i tend to overpack so i can't even imagine what i'd do if i had to pack ALL of the OOT stuff along with two weeks worth of clothes AND a wedding dress AND a slew of shoes AND makeup AND...well, you get the picture.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
