African American Natural hair wedding hairsyles...HELP!

Recommended Posts

This is my fav bun in the back..I have sisterlocs so they are like micro braids..and my hair is very thick..so the bun is going to be huge by September.  I wouldn't do any loose hair for bangs though.  I do not want anything blowing in the wind. It seems to be pretty windy on the beach at times.

I love her makeup.  I do not wear makeup at all so I feel you.  I am having Rashel Edwards airbrush my makeup on.  I may have to put this one in the makeup folder too.

Girrrrrl, I am going to do it... My hair is thin on the edges of the right side of my head. It has been thin like that since I was younger and my mom used to put them tight ponytails in my hair...so I am going to have her praid it on the left side instead. Which means I may need to be on the right side when we are at the alter instead on on the left like it is normally done.

Uh oh! I think I have found another thread to start! "Does the bride have to stand on the left side or can they stand on the right?" I have already found some interesting information about this topic on theknot.com.

I will be at 150 posts before you know it...lol

Keep a look out for the post. I think I need to do some work first...BDW will have you doing everything but what you are paid to do around here...lol

I like the front of this one too.  I don't know if I would want to bun that high in the back.  The only thing I am trying to decide is if I want the twisted rolls going back or just have it pulled back flat.

Are you going to do a flower or anything on the braided side?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
