Recommended Posts

hi, tori!!

my purple paisley is printed on cardstock..then cut for various uses..luminaries, envelopes, etc.  not a find...just a good printer...now the silver damask is preprinted on vellum that i found at hobby lobby...gotta love MICHAELS AND HOBBY LOBBY!!!

i also printed my paisley on vellum which i'll use for luminaries...those are SUPER SUPER cute..but i gotta hold onto those so ya'll will have something to look forward to in my final planning thread and/POST wedding review, etc.  msnwink.gif  but you can see some paisley luminaries in the pics from our at home ceremony..that's just printed cardstock.

stay tuned...

hi, kkimi88!

thanks for the accolades, i just LOVE the whole DIY and planning process..its so much fun.

my plan is to post everything either after the big day or the day before we depart...

stay tuned and as always, HAPPY planning!!

They're very founded: your planning thread is one of my faves on this entire forum. I love DIY and you seem to be a DIY goddess! I can't wait to have as many things ticked off as you- I'm still just starting out but hope to get there as I really enjoy it and it just makes everything that little bit more personal, doesn't it?

Love your latest project too, very cute! Did you make the umbrellas from scratch or cover pre-made ones?

Please can I make a request for the final planning post? I'd LOVE to see photos of all of your DIYs on the big day! If you can find time, I'd love to see them.

Also, can I be really cheeky and request a template of your boarding passes? I'd really appreciate it!

Kim.

kkimi88...you're so sweet and made me blush!  embarrest.gif

ya'll really do know how to make a girl feel good...

the drink umbrellas are all custom..i cut them out, pasted them...added the toothpicks and bead and viola...CUSTOM DRINK UMBRELLAS...to be frank, i'm not certain that they will make the ultimate DIY list..but i thought they were cute and a 'maybe' for the wedding...if they don't make the wedding, that's ok..i'll think of an alternate use for 'em...maybe a party at home or something.

i'll definitely take pics of all of my DIY projects "in play" in Jamaica...

THANKS, love!!!  stay tuned...

stay tuned and as always, happy planning!!!

Loving the purple paisley as well!!! I could only hope that my printer would print the purple the way it looks on the screen, it definitely prints more pinkish!  Thoughts?  Using an HP (also does photos) with individual colored ink cartridges, I think Canon does the same as far as the cartridges go...  I brought it to a Staples to print, same color effect.  Pretty sure they printed on a laser...  Think I might be out of luck.

Loving your latest project and so looking forward to the final review!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
