I wanted to do signature cocktails too but wasn't sure what the resort offered... did you email the coordinator or just knew?!  I couldn't read the menu perfectly on here (it was a long day staring at a computer screen lol) but I LOVE the look of it!!!

As always, thanks for being an inspiration!!!!

so, i'm concentrating my efforts on all things decor and wedding weekend related items...we're hosting a welcome reception in the resort's lobby bar and i decided we needed 'signature cocktails' so i created a cocktail menu...of loaded (alcoholic) and unloaded (virgin) drinks...

take a peak...

hi, sllefebvr!

no formal excursions are planned...i want to avoid 'overscheduling' things for our guests..most of our guests are only coming thursday to monday and time goes by fast when you're on vacay..so other than welcome dinner, our wedding and a bachelor breakfast and bachelorette breakfast, i'm not planning any other 'group' activities.

i will be including info and details on excursions in our welcome packets though.

hey, tori!

i contacted our resort's WC and got the 'green light' before coming up with the cocktail names.

i'd check with your resort, i bet it won't be a problem.

Michael's is pretty good about ordering paper in bulk, too. I'm making my invitations, and we got all of our paper from there. Two colors for 100 invitations, paper for Response Cards, Additional Information, and At Home Reception cards all for $50. They gave me the sale price which was 4 for $1 of the 8.5 x 11 and 2 for $1 of the large scrapbook paper. On top of all of that, you can use your %15 off of your total order from the newspaper or your educator discount. It's an awesome deal. ;)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
