they will be placed at each place setting for the rehearsal dinner...i'm trying to keep our reception very low key and fun so we won't have assigned seating except for the groom and i...so the ones below will be used to reserve our seating.  msnwink.gif

awwwwww..asia..you're so kind.

take your time, love...it'll come to you.  you've got plenty of time to gather your thoughts and create a game plan.  my thought has and will remain...EVERYTHING must COORDINATE...so, i took my husband's love of paisley and found one that was purple (his favorite color) and viola i had the basis of what i would use for my stationery suite.

there's LOTS of inspiration on this site and others....i bet you'll come up with some GREAT DIY projects, etc. and i hope you'll share what you end up doing so others can be inspired by your planning as well.

as always, happy planning!!

good evening, fellow DIY & destination brides!!

after customizing some pill boxes i found at michaels earlier in the week (for my For Better For Worse kits), i decided it wouldn't be right unless i made custom ones in our paisley print for the dark chocolate kisses (the purple foiled ones) i plan to give our guests...so i made one...

i used the ones i bought at michaels as my template...cut paisley printed cardstock, glued the two sides together, folded the ends, embellished them with my eyelet wrap and logo label...and voila...custom pill boxes.  feel free to take a peak and let me know what you think...

brides, i'm SUPER proud of these...one down and 14 more to make...luckily, i only have to make 15 OOT bags to put together...woo hoo!!

as always, until next time, HAPPY PLANNING!!

hi, islandgirl...

yeah, we chatted about the stickers before..but its all good..no worries.

visit the stickers section at michaels...i bought sparkly letters in blue and red...put together the I Do then stuck them on the bottom of my shoe.  you could likely find letters in your wedding colors...i may end up changing mine to purple, afterall.  the red ones that i bought included the beautiful sparkly heart that adorns the shoe along with the I Do.

stickers cost between $1.99 and $3.99...check out the michaels website for this week's coupon.

happy planning!!

i've been busy with so many projects including a new program which i'll detail for you in my final planning thread. (stay tuned)

in the meantime, i've been putting together 'kits'...an In Sickness & In Health kit (aka first aid kit) and a For Better or For Worse kit (aka bug repellent, shout wipes, meds like antacids, tylenol and the like)...so the first aid kit was a simple label with our logo.  originally, i was going to do simple envelopes for the For Better or For Worse kits but i wasn't thrilled about how they were looking so i decided to purchase some cute pill boxes from Michaels, add some embellishments and viola For Better or For Worse kits now "coordinate" with all of my other stuff.  i can't wait to hear how ya'll feel about the latest addition to my stationery suite...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
