Mrstgun's Planning Updates (Pic Heavy - FINAL Planning Post - Page 65, Post 642)

Why don't you try darkening your purple.  It may not look right on the computer screen but as long as it is printing like you like than you are good to go!!!!  I had the same trouble when designing personalized items for my friends bachelorette.  It was the opposite though, when it printed it printed MUCH darker!

I could only hope that my printer would print the purple the way it looks on the screen, it definitely prints more pinkish!  Thoughts?  Using an HP (also does photos) with individual colored ink cartridges, I think Canon does the same as far as the cartridges go...  I brought it to a Staples to print, same color effect.  Pretty sure they printed on a laser...  Think I might be out of luck.

Loving your latest project and so looking forward to the final review!!

Congratulations! I knew you did amazing monograms, I just discovered your DIY thread!!! I managed to come up with five different monograms. When you get a chance, do you mind checking out my thread. I would love your feedback. I want to add our date and destination somehow without making it look crowded.

Happy planning!

In my opinion, organized chaos (only when wedding related) is perfectly acceptable!!! I bet you know where everything is and where to reach for it if you needed it on that table!!  Loving the door hangers for while you are getting ready! May have to use that one myself, if you don't mind?!  Can't do the regular ones (shhh sleeping form attending ______ wedding) we are staying in family style condos and defeats the purpose. Thanks for sharing!!!

Sorry to hjack your thread R!!!

@ Tori - My biggest problem are the images I purchased to use for the invites.  Without having photoshop or being a skilled graphic designer (although I should have explored that option in college), I am left to match the font color to the image color.  It's not terrible as I've found paper from papersource that matches it spot on but it's not perfect (in my mind) and I think we all know how that feels...

Thanks for the advice!!! I still may bring it to a printer - not staples and see if they can do anything different.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
