March 2012 Brides!

You're right Laurelyn...March will be here very quickly! I finally got my invitations in and will be mailing them next week. I didn't get response cards because we basically know who's coming and figure the invitation is only a formality. We currently have 44 guests booked with only a handful seemingly waiting until the last minute. We still haven't picked out the groomsmen attire (on the to do list for tomorrow). JosABanks is having a sale where you buy one suit and get two free but it ends tonight and they wouldn't ship until 2/24! That would have been perfect since we only have two groomsmen but oh well. I also plan to work on centerpieces in January and order my bridesmaid shoes. We also need to finalize the location and transportation for our welcome reception. Since we're not doing all inclusive, I want to make sure that everyone gets off of the resort since it will be a lot of guests first time outside of the continental U.S.

How is everyone doing now?? I just had one big wedding push and feel much calmer about everything!  I finally have the groomsmen ordering their outfits.  As well I just finished ordering my pre travel brochures and luggage tags and my OOT are almost done just a couple more little things and just printing some labels!  I still can't believe how quick time is flying!  Soon enough we will all have a drink in hand relaxing with our toes in the sand.  Cant wait!!!

Hi everyone! Weddings are coming up quickly, aren't they? Less than 60 days to go for me! Invites were sent out last week (we know everyone who is coming, save for a few people) and I have made some headway on a lot of decisions, so it feels good. We still need to get the attire for groom and BM, and our figuring out entertainment/music for the reception. I think those are the last big items. Oh wait, and the groom's ring! Hoping to get these things sorted very soon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
